When I first registered for classes and during my first couple of classes it was an amazing experience. I loved my professors Dr. Johnson, and Dr. Bazan-Shipp, they were awesome! However, there were a few professors that made my experience drop. It was hard to believe that professors had no idea what was on the Brightspace app. and were given different information making us work on things we shouldn't. Then, finding out that the Praxis exam is a NU requirement and not all universities, I personally think that extra stress added to what we already had is unnecessary. (Sorry, that's how I feel)

National failed to respond to me, and make attempts to make adjustments to my program when they no longer offered the classes I need for my program. I was almost done with this program, but they have completely wasted my time. I have been waiting for responses about my independent study requests.

The only reason they even get a single star is because the professors are amazing. Education wise, all great. On-boarding, financing, admissions, all non-existent. I put in 10 calls to maybe get one returned a week later. Do more then take my money or don’t claim yourself service or concierge because the staff is neither! -10 experience. In the 8 weeks i gave them to onboard, the last 2 i shared with Cal State…which had me set up in 2 afternoons.

I have been waiting 4 months for my petition. I’m not sure what the status is as I have been told 3 times we are still waiting on my petition so I can enroll in the classes I need to obtain a general education credential. At this point, I feel that I need to look into another university.

Two classes in and my experience has been pleasant

ABA 620: Christina Perez. Communicative and consistent with assignment feedback, lectures, and emails. ABA 622: Onaida Sanchez. Lack of or very delayed communication for lectures and emails. Assignments lack feedback, and I’m not sure she even reads them..

I'm an alumni returning after almost 20 years to get a master's degree. The schedule of one class a month works very well for me; although, the amount of reading and assignments required in a week's time can be overwhelming and sometimes just unattainable with work and other responsibilities, but the bright side is that before you know it, the class is over. Most of the instructors are very knowledgeable and accommodating and make themselves available for guidance, but there are some who are not. I wish National would require instructors to have one zoom session a week or at least bi-weekly. Some of the material covered in classes has allowed me to apply it in my work environment almost immediately, making the experience quite fulfilling.
