We appreciate you reaching out and we did do our best to rectify this situation. Unfortunately, when our items are purchased through a 3rd party, such as Amazon, and they are shipped and fulfilled by that 3rd party, NOVICA is not given any information regarding the order. Those instances do make it difficult for us to assist the customer. We do apologize for the inconvenience and we hope you were satisfied with our resolution.

The majority of our items are handmade by artisans around the world so, they are not machine made like most of the items that you find at your local department stores.
