I like that you can leave messages for family on it. It tells you what door is opening. You don't always have to put a code in to alarm and disalarm. Easy to understand

So far our experience with the sales staff has been fine. We have not needed to use our new system on an emergency basis since it was installed last week. System is easy to use and we have confidence it will meet our needs. Like some new benefits our old system did not offer

The sale was fast and the install was scheduled the same night. We were surprised at how quickly it all came together and had us checking reviews during the install just to see if we made the best choice. We have been satisfied in the end. Samuel said he'd call the next day, but didn't get his call. Other than that, the system has been working fine. I have been with NorthStar now for about a year and a half and have found that doing a move with them (because of being locked into a five year contract) was less than acceptable to me. Items that were on the original contract don't work in the home that I'm living in. I asked to have those items removed and my bill lowered to reflect the items that I have installed. NorthStar refused to reduce my bill and gave me a list of items that I could get to compensate for the unusable items. I didn't need any more of their items and still paying the full contract price for a less than adequate system. Their customer service is less than a one star. They are unwilling to make any changes to a long contract and as soon as my contract expires, I will be done with them Personal advice, find a better company with better customer service. Do your research before signing their contract!
