Brendan is my technician and his work has been fine

I had no intention of purchasing a security system that day. This was, however, on "the list" of improvements I eventually wanted to make to the house. Besides, my next door neighbor, a local police officer, had one. My repeated requests for a brochure to review at my leisure were politely ignored as the salesman, Joel, deftly steered the conversation back to the presentation. When he finally shook my hand to leave, the installation guy was running wire, Joel had a signed contract, and I had a NorthStar Home security system. To be fair, Joel had been honest, there were no hidden costs, customer service has been responsive, and the contract did allow me a three day grace period to back out. In the future, however, I will not be answering the door to any more salesmen.

Great Experience

Good Hardware, however software updates are needed badly to utilize the full functionality of home automation devices as well as the main alarm panel.

Easy to follow app and comprehensive but similarly user-friendly control center.

I'm new to NorthStar and their sales and installation teams were very professional and made me feel comfortable about them being in the home and installing the system.

a few glitches but overall happy with our security system.

I am satisfied with the service...although we can't enter the house without 1st turning off the alarm through our phones..we need to be able to walk in the house without setting off the alarm with enough time to walk over to the panel and turn off the alarm...other than that we are new with using the system and look forward to having a great experience...
