The articles can we well written and informative but their digital infrastructure is an absolute mess leading to a really poor customer experience. I tried the digital subscription, from the start it was confusing, I set up a direct debit but then couldn't access anything. You have to then create an account (separately), then link the subscription you previously paid for... Unnecessary complex, it should be one operation. When you do eventually get access to the articles, they're unfortunately riddled with ads (even though you've paid to access them) and they're badly implemented ads too, the kind that randomly load and move the page around so you have to scroll back to where you were reading. It's also impossible to find any info on your subscription, if you go to "manage subscription", it asks you to log in again even though you're already logged in. It's like nobody has considered or they just don't give a crap about the user experience. Which is a shame because I'd happily pay if it wasnt so infuriating. However, it is, so I'll be cancelling.

Is it a common thing for National Geographic around the world. I live in Jndia and had subscribed for the magazine on 8th October. I had also received a communication that December issue will be my first. However, toll today I have not received the magazine. I had written a mail as well in their customer support but have got no response.

Dear Ms Modi, our standard delivery time of first issue is 4-8 weeks from time of order. I am very sorry to hear you are facing issues at receiving our monthly magazine. We would like to investigate this delivery issue and we ask that you please contact [email protected] to speak to our Customer Escalations team who can help investigate this further for you. Thank you, Nat Geo Customer Care Team

Really great informative channel. Finding out new information of sculptures, history, animals and world findings is very invigorating.

I too wish I had read reviews on here before ordering a subscription. I placed my order back in October and still no sign of my magazine. The website is clunky and the password reset is not working so I can't even access my account. Not can I download back issues because the download does not work! Total rip off and feel like I have been scammed! Reported to Trading Standards and BBC Watchdog. I hope you are investigated. Anyone else reading this please do the same.

Dear Keri, we are sorry to hear about your experience with your magazine delivery and we have arranged for a customer service representative to reach out to you directly to resolve. In the meantime, you can check the status of your account here at our self-service site: https://ngmintlservice.nationalgeographic.com/solo/. Unfortunately, downloadable pdfs via an app are not currently offered to subscribers outside the U.S. and Canada. However, when logged in as a subscriber, all magazine content can be viewed at nationalgeographic.com or our full archive at archive.nationalgeographic.com. Sincerely, National Geographic Customer Services

We are in UK. We tried to arrange a subscription for our son who now lives in Canada. There is no way to do this online ! Enquiries to Customer service saw me passed from colleague to colleague on each side of the Atlantic, nobody taking responsibility nor offering any sensible suggestions as to how it could be arranged. Oh, I should add that one suggestion was that I phone US ( not Canada) and arrange it, I had to explain that the cost of the call would be much greater than the NG subscription. The result of all this, one lost potential customer. How are NG still in business?

100 Best Photos, 2023. If I wanted your opinion on climate change I would have asked for it. You have drank the kool aide and I will no longer buy your publications.
