MyplaydirectReviews of myplaydirect.com

i ordered vinyl from this site back in march...i had to look up the status of the order to find out it was backordered. Even though the product i ordered said it was in stock on the website and kept saying it was in stock everyday. So i have contacted them many times got the same response, we are waiting find out from the factory when we will ship those...months go by still no update or vinyl and i have to contact them everytime. Finally, i said i want to cancel and want a refund now it is taking them up to a month to refund me and i don't think they will ever refund me. Please never buy from this site it is basically a scam and a huge lie.

We purchased a 5 Seconds of Summer Premium Bundle Pre-Order on July 5th. Our credit card company shows that the transaction went through and is pending (AND STILL IS) but we have received a message from Myplaydirect that states "Your payment did not go through. Please place a new order or contact customer service." We have spent 16 days trying to resolve this issue with this being the ONLY response from Myplaydirect which we received July 18th: "We're sorry your payment didn't go through. Our payment verification system displays that the transaction couldn't be completed and you have to contact your credit card company to get more info. However, upon checking, your product is still available." Um, no. 1.) We have tried to reorder a billion times but have received the same message every time: "Sorry, the product is not available to add to cart (Sold Out)". 2.) We have contacted our credit card company and they show that the transaction as pending & our money is still being held up. I have the transaction id for anyone from Myplaydirect that's interested. 3.) Myplaydirect does not have a phone number so that you can speak to a human being. Instead you spend half your life waiting for them to respond by email, or if they don't feel like it, to not respond at all. My daughter is so completely disappointed and I am fed up with spinning my wheels. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

I ordered a digital download- the order went through, but the link seems to be broken, and it just keeps taking me back to the "Congrats, thanks for your order" page. The money has been taken from my PayPal already, but I still can't download what I ordered, and I haven't heard from anyone yet (just sent my 2nd message after hearing nothing in 24 hours). I'm just hoping I'm not out $10. :-(

I attempted to buy Bruce Springsteen 'The Promise' vinyl bundle on 26th June. I received my order confirmation email saying I will receive an e-mail when my order is shipped. 10 days later I hadn't heard a thing. I went back to my confirmation email and clicked on the order ref. to see my order status as 'canceled'. I didn't receive an email to say this was the case I was just left to figure it out myself. I emailed customer service and was told that unfortunately there is no apparent reason as to why it was cancelled to maybe try again. So I did. I want this record. I received another confirmation email and again was told I will receive an e-mail when my order is shipped. I went straight into my order status to see what it would say and it was cancelled already. Not 3 minutes from the time I started the order to checking the status had passed and it was 'canceled'. I was so disappointed again. I have ordered things through Myplaydirect on popmarket and never had a problem. I sent another email and was told that management were looking into the matter but the item might not be in stock. There are several options on the item to select and all say 'in stock'. I hope this can be resolved as soon as possible and I can get my hands on this record.

My digital music order downloaded quickly and easily and I am now enjoying Wild Belle's new album Isles. Really quite delightful.

I ordered a Hobbie Stuart signed CD, and I'm pretty sure I may have ordered it twice. The first time I ordered I completed a PayPal checkout and after seeing whether my order had shipped, I found no record of the first payment on PayPal or any email accounts. So, I thought out of my own error I would order one again and have received nothing yet. Order arrival date was 23rd - 26th June but it is now 4th July and I have had no emails. I waited a bit as I thought maybe the item was bizzarely being sent from America even though the artist is British, but I now see that it ships from the UK. I have absolutely NO idea what's going on ! All I want is my order and to find out what happened with the mysterious first order that has disappeared, but it is now saying product out of stock. If I don't get it I will be so disappointed. This has been only a bad experience so far !

I ordered a beach towel in 25th of May. After a month it wasn't shipped. After my second email they gave me the estimated shipping date: 14th of July. I asked to cancel my order, and they did it, but i saw that my paypal transaction was (and still is) in pending status. The expiration date of the transaction is May, 2015. I asked them to cancel the paypal transaction too. Now i get the reply form the third person, but i always get the same answer: my order was cancelled, and i wasn't charged for this item. I asked to check the paypal transaction, but i can't get info about it.

We ordered a limited pre-release item almost 2 months ahead of the release date and paid thru Amazon Payments. When the release became available, the money was removed from our account. But MyPlay sent out a message that the payment method failed (only after we filed a complaint). After almost 3 weeks of emails, since they don't have phone number and/or real people in their customer dis-service department. Finally we got our money back but the limited addition item ordered 2 months in advance is now sold out. Their customer service is terrible at best. Do not deal with these people!
