MyplaydirectReviews of myplaydirect.com

OK so I'm a big A$AP mob fan in was looking to buy some new gear after looking at a lot of bad reviews on this website I said to myself I really want this jacket so I will give it a try in it was the best thing to do the sipping was very fast it came before the date they gave me.. thank you

Very impressive, considering the thousands of orders, global neighborhood and exponential customers, you treated me like I mattered. That means a lot, and I thank you for your efforts!!

After querying when I might receive my item nuerous times (which has been outstanding since the 14th August 2014), they sent me this message on the 2nd of October.. !I am really sorry your order has not been shipped yet. Upon checking our system, your order is expected to ship on October 06, 2014. I have asked our supply chain team to update your order status page with a new estimated ship date. It normally takes them 2-3 days, so by October 05, 2014 your order status page should display new shipping dates." It is now the 10th October, the order status has not been updated nor have i received the item !! If I do not receive this item by the Octonber 17 I intend to report this shambolic hopeless company to Trading Standards and the Advertising Standards Authority! I have been waiting for delivery of this item since the original order was placed on the 14th August !! Heed my words as I have enough of the game play and your lies!

I honestly think this site has been set-up as some kind of social experiment to see how much bad service people are prepared to put up with. They can't even do the most basic tasks such as cancel an order. Responses often don't bear any relation to the question you have asked. Avoid at all costs.

I don't normally write reviews but was really pleased with the service. I went on the Ben Howard music site and was disappointed to see that the pre-order for the vinyl copy of his new album was only available in the US so I emailed to ask if it would be available in Canada: "we will get back to you once we get an update from them regarding the availability of the items in Canada." And to my surprise, the next day I got an email saying it was available. To be honest I really was not expecting a follow up. Placed my order. Really pleased! Thanks a lot.

I've placed numerous orders with Play.com in the past and I have always received the items in the promised condition within a short period of time. I recently placed an order that I had to cancel as it turned out I already had some of the items that I had just placed the order for. Customer service replied within a few hours, informing me that they had cancelled my order as requested. As any other classy online outlet, cc's aren't charged until orders ship, therefore I did not have to wait for days for a refund. Very satisfied.

After ordering an item in June and writing at least three follow up emails I was very dissatisfied to learn the item had been discontinued. Which would not have been such a big deal had I not had to wait for three months to find out or written countless emails to inquire where it was. I would never recommend this company to anyone and I will never do business with them again.

I had placed a pre-order for the Ghostbusters 30th anniversary Blu Ray, along with a release of the soundtrack on vinyl and a keychain. The release date for the Blu Ray came and went and my order had not shipped because the soundtrack's ship date had changed to early October. Fair enough, I figured, these things happen. Now that it's early October, I checked again and the ship date for the soundtrack had moved to early November. Closer inspection of my order revealed that each individual item in my order had a delivery fee charged to it, so why were all my items being held for one package? So I contacted customer service and asked that what items were available be shipped (because, frankly, I could have gotten the Blu Ray quicker and cheaper from Amazon). I received my ship notification stating that the Blu Ray and the soundtrack were on their way, with the keychain shipping soon. What the hell sense does that make? The item that wouldn't be available until November is on its way? And I need to wait for a keychain? Rest assured, I will never order from these people again. I don't appreciate being jerked around in this fashion.
