Hi. I wanted to make a clear, updated review of My Play Direct. So i want to say first some couple of things. 1• This is my first experience/purchase with My Play Direct. 2• The item, which is the Interstellar Illumimated Box, was not on pre-order but marked as In Stock. That means that i dont know how My Play Directs manage their Pre order items and the time it taked to ship etc. 3•The most important, I am going to be 100% honest about my review. So first, i did come on that website to see if My play Direct was "Trustworthy". The soundtrack i bought cost $45, and i wanted to be sure that I would get it. Ans fast! So i was searching for any review on MyPlayDirect and came to this website. I was skeptic as I came across the negative feedback. But I decided to give a try. • I ordered the item on the Saturday 17th of January. • They shipped it on the Tuesday 20th of Jan. (2 Business Days after my I ordered) • I received on week later, that is the 27th at 5:18Pm. I should say that I extremely satisfied. It was fast and reliable. I just want to say that meanwhile, i wanted to test them. So on the Monday 19 Jan, I sent an email early in the morning asking why my item wasn't Shipped yet... (Yes, I was a little though...barely) and i got an email back from the Team couple of hours after. So I wanted to say that their Customer Service was good also. They were at least fast to reply! So here is is. I really Hoped it helped those you are worried. From my experience, I would say... GO Forward! I had a really good experience. A fast shipping too!

I ordered something that came in 2 batches, only the second batch was cancelled and I was never notified. I kept waiting for something that never was gonna arrive. Also I had a damaged product and I received ZERO replies to all my inquiries on how to replace it. UPDATE - 6/5/15 There is NO phone number to call - only email. That should clue you in that there is a problem already with their customer service model. I have been emailing the "customer service" every 30 days for an update for the last 6 months. Repeat 6 MONTHS!!! It's always the same generic email reply of "waiting to hear back from distribution" How can this process work? I seriously doubt anyone is looking into my issue. The worst company I have every dealt with period. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS.

I can't honestly say whether it is myplaydirects fault my order hasn't been shipped after a month or if their supplier is just the slowest ever. I've been in contact with customer service twice and they are lovely people to be honest. Kinda makes me feel guilty for being mad at the company. What makes me don't want to order from this place again is that there are inconsistencies on the page. The item I ordered was in stock (and still is according to the page) but when I'm looking at my order status the item's back-ordered and they still don't know the status of the item or when it will be shipped. So to summarize: will not order from this place again, but great customer service :)

I tried to order an album that was advertised as "in stock, ships in 1-2 days". I placed the order and got a confirmation email, saying my order was received, but had no ship date. Two weeks later, still no album. I wrote them to inquire, and they told me it was actually out of stock and they could not fulfill the order. Deeply disappointing experience; this company seems to lack professionalism and/or basic inventory management control. Wouldn't waste my time depending on them to fulfill a future order and wouldn't recommend them to anybody.

I ordered my son's birthday present over a month ago! I emailed them about it and they keep saying it's on backorder and that they would harge me for shipping but this is ridiculous, I'm giving them till Monday and then I'm canceling my order. I will never order from them again. Completely ruined my son's birthday surprise.

I had a few problems with my order and Myplaydirect had a very simple form to fill out and stuck true to their word and replied to me within 24 hours. They understood my problem well and gave me a range of possible solutions. I would definitely recommend them and also order from them again.
