I liked the idea of the Gardyn 2.0 unit, that seemed to fix the common issues on the Gardyn 1.0 unit. But so far, I am very unsatisfied with the 2.0 unit. First, there was a problem with the wifi on the unit itself. Lights would turn on and off when they felt like, not when they were programmed. The pump had the same issue, and over 2/3's of the plants died. Customer service sent me out a new lid that contains the brains for the Gardyn. I installed the new lid, and now the water level indicator does not work properly. Plus the tank refresh timer is constantly off. Overall, I think Gardyn company failed to test out the unit before shipping it out. Too many issues to mention in this post.

No mader if you have an unknown pest in your Dill or need assistance on replacing a part. The Gardyn customer service is fantastic and some of the best I have ever received.

We totally LOVE our Gardyn! The Gardyn iteself arrived quickly and packaged well. The instructions for set-up were helpful and easy to understand. The Customer Service team is very helpful and quite responsive. The Facebook Gardyners group is filled with enthusiastic and helpful people that are at all stages of Gardyning. Kelby's tips and reminders keep us on track. And the membership is great for trying new plant varieties and ordering favorites so you always have what you like in your harvest. We now have two Gardyn units and frequently recommend Gardyn to others.

Overall, I am very pleased with my Gardyn. Seeds were very slow to germinate, company should include suggestions found on facebook that include 'tenting' the whole unit. My packages arrived ripped with holes in the boxes, good luck for me nothing was damaged. Others have post about receiving damaged boxes. Suggest company consider changing shipping carrier. Monthly membership fees too expensive. After about 10 weeks, everything is growing great.

Superb Gradyn community support - after using the Gardyn for 2 months, the plants are growing well. Not all the plants were grown from Gardyn, but it is easy to transplant plants into the Gardyn. I get reminders to refresh the water tank, and there are plenty of advice from other Gardyners on not only cleaning the Gardyn but also on growing plants and flowers. In another 2 months, I expect to have more lettuce growth than my family can eat, which is the reason I purchased the Gardyn. Overall, I have been very satisfied with the Gradyn and appreciate the Facebook page to receive advice from other owners.

This is the easiest and healthiest decision I have ever made! My family loves getting 13-20 ounces of fresh lettuces every 4-5 days!!!! And it's SO EASY!!!!

When my garden showed up at my house all of the parts were present and packaged well. The assembly was easy and straight forward. We got our Gardyn set up and plants inserted in no time. We are notified by email to do things to ensure success. The app has informative information which seems to be located in many places and sometimes contradicts itself. A step by step printed manual would be very helpful. I have pulled together my own collection of information and have 3 ring binders I have set up so I don’t have to spend time trying to remember where certain info is on the app. All in all though it has been fun and informative being an indoor farmer! I would recommend Gardyn for anyone who likes working with plants.

My Gardyn was so lovely but it fails to notify of failures and pests. I had massive infestation that wiped out all my lettuce that went from no issues to garbage in about a week - there is no guided learning on what to lookout for so these issues become a learning curve AFTER it’s happened not before. I’ve also had constant issues with the pump and watering. The app says you are watering but it’s not happening and I have had wilting lettuce kelby doesn’t notice. It’s very disappointed and will not recommend. My busy life makes it hard to stay on top of customer service which people have raved about but I’ve not had good experience with.
