Slow shipping, weeks later I'm still waiting for my cables! I ordered a couple of cables from Monoprice, since they used to be decent. Big mistake - it has been three weeks and I'm still waiting. A week ago they sent me a tracking number but still haven't actually shipped anything. What a hassle, never again.

Ordered items weeks ago, and, same as everyone else. No communication, no shipment, and empty promises. WHY DOES YOUR WEBSITE STILL SAY BEFORE PEOPLE ORDER THINGS WILL SHIP OUT RIGHT AWAY? Monoprice is willingly choosing to allow customers to order before informing them of the shipping delays. Had the website said anything about this, I would have ordered elsewhere. Such a shame Monoprice, you used to be awesome. Reply: Dear Monoprice; I went to the same product I ordered and it still tells people it is in stock and will ship by tomorrow. You are STILL willfully scamming people into ordering products you can not ship so forgive me if your copy and paste apology rings a bit hollow.

I've been a volume VIP business purchaser for 11 years. I currently have orders from late August that are still pending shipment as of Sept 22. This is absolutely ridiculous. Whoever is leading your warehouse expansion should be terminated. This event has cost me thousands in losses. I need ALL my orders canceled at this point. Is there an ETA when things will be resolved??? Customer support is giving me the ring around.

Monoprice used to be good. Their shipping time is absurd- I ordered a single item nearly a month ago. It’s missed several delivery estimations and I’m wondering if I’ll ever get the item or if I’ll be disputing it with my credit card. Just avoid them, they are a shadow of their former selves.

Ordered 2 cables and 2 usb NICs on 8/17. Received 1 cable and 1 NIC on 9/20. Reached out to customer service previous to this the see why it was taking so long. Empty promises about expediting my order. It's been a while since I had ordered from Monoprice but I had remembered them being reputable. I wanted to give them another go instead of just going to Amazon. Not going back there, but definitely looking elsewhere.

I placed an order on 09/02 and still to this day, 09/20, have not received any update on when my order will even be shipped! I have called on 3 separate occasions and been told they will reach out to the warehouse to add my shipment to the priority list. But that has not happened at all. In a world where you can purchase the same product from 3-4 retailers (e.g. Amazon) and receive it within 1-3 days the expectation is you should be able to receive your order within a week. Or at the very least within a week you should know when to expect your order to be shipped. I totally understand problems happen and planned upgrades don't go as anticipated, however the key is being upfront with your customers. I find it an extremely deceptive practice to so easily accept an order and charge a credit card but not tell customers the order will not be processed for at least 3 weeks! Give customers the choice by being honest. If you know that you can't process an order then don't accept the order or only charge the credit card when it ships. Very disappointed in this service.

Contacted them at least four times through chat regarding an order that was placed September 1. Today I got shipment notification. I got the same run around and everyone else did. Warehouse moving… They did offer me an 8% discount. (Edit) Thank you Laura. Please post your contact info.

Where's my stuff? Where is customer support? I put a small order in on 9/7 with an estimated ship date of 9/7. The order confirmation email says orders are shipped within 5-7 business days, but here I am 8 business days later, 10 actual days later, with no shipment email. Emailed customer support a couple days ago and no response. Monoprice used to be THE place for cables. What's happened? You're in trouble when you're outshined by eBay. Update: It took a few hours, but after I emailed the escalation email Laura reached out to me via phone/email, was very apologetic, and very professional. It's grating dealing with disgruntled customers, but it didn't come through in her voicemail. She didn't say this, but my takeaway is they're understaffed and Laura's having to bust it late on a Friday to try to keep up with all of the frustrated customers, which royally sucks, so I'm sorry for adding to the pile, Laura, and for somehow getting your name wrong in our correspondence. I hope you're able to staff up and get the help you need to get operations back in order She got back with me same-day after normal business hours on a Friday with a tracking number, and offered a small discount for the frustration. As a result, I am raising my review to 4 stars.
