UPDATE: The day after filing this complaint, the company contacted me by email stating they will send me the referral coins in May (they process them once a month on the 15th). I will delete my complaint when I receive the referral bonus. I have placed several orders from Money Metals Exchange over the past couple years and was always satisfied until.... March 2023- I referred a friend to Money Metals Exchange last month and she purchased 860 Walking Liberty coins totaling over $24,000. Money Metals Exchange advertises that they will give you a referral bonus of 1 American Eagle 1 ounce silver coin plus an additional American Eagle for each $5,000 they purchase, plus they will give the new purchaser a 1/2 ounce silver coin. I was on the call with my friend as she placed her first order with me as the referring member. She was traveling and would not be available at her residence, so she asked if they could ship it to my address so she could pick it up from me on her way back through my area. When I received a letter today from Money Metals Exchange, I was reminded of the referral and called them to ask about it. I was told my friend would have to call them, so I asked her to. I then got a call back and was transferred to the man that sold her the coins (James, I believe) and he said because it was sent to my address where we live together, they wouldn't honor the referral. We do not live together, I live with my wife in Idaho and my friend lives in Arizona. When my friend talked to another agent at Money Metals Exchange, she was told that they wouldn't honor it because she didn't say she was referred by me. NOT TRUE! I was on the call with my friend when she placed the order. I introduced myself to the man as a current customer and said that my friend wanted to place an order. Is that not a referral? He didn't say anything about not honoring the referral fee because the coins were being shipped to my house, nor does their advertisement state that. We could easily send a photo of our ID to show the separate addresses. I have cancelled my auto ship with them and will no longer deal with this shady company.

I ordered junk silver, I didn't receive it, but I got their good-silver. (they made a profit)!) Realistically, no one is in business to lose! I tested their honesty- (at a small fee). Don't invest too much until you're sure of the integrity? I don't think I'll ever do it again! They're off my list!

Very slow delivery. Customer service was not pleasant to speak with. I ordered on the 3rd of April and haven't received my order as today the 17th of April.

I am very disappointed, I wish I had visited this website to read the negative review before thinking of dealing with Money Metals, after clearing my payment they sent me the envoice and told me I will recieve the tracking number on April 13 via email, at the end of the day when I got nothin I talked to one of the customer services and he said the bars may be shipped at the end of next week, seriously? That's not professional at all, I will never ever order any metals online, I will go straight to the jewelry stores.

I tried them out because they were supposedly reliable and fast. So far, the shipping is not impressive. I'll update when I've received my order. By the way, there are cheaper places to shop as well. I was disappointed when I saw some other rates after my purchase.

I ordered from MME and had a great experience. All arrived as scheduled. No problems with any of the orders. Items were packaged well and arrived as requested.

I wish I had read the many, many negative reviews here first. The company has deceptive advertising and their customer support is rude. First, the company uses other company names as keywords in Google search engine so their company pops up, so at first glance you believe you are at another company's website. Then they boldly highlight a certain delivery delay, but after the order is complete and it does not ship within the expected time, they will tell you the actual delivery delay is 3 times longer. When confronted about this, they are rude and condescending. The company manager made it clear they do a high number of transactions so the customer is just a number. I tried to reach out to the company president to inform him how his staff works, and my request was ignored.

Been doing business with MoneyMetals for 2 years ranging from shipped product and self directed IRA with storage. Nothing but excellent service and solid delivery experience. They have one of the best web sites for on-line bullion dealers. Easy to search, lots of products and clearly posted premiums. No other web site delivers this value.
