I purchased 4 Morgans dollars, 2 AU and 2 Common Circulated. To be fair Money Metals as well as the other big sellers are focused on bullion value rather than numismatic value. I am also purchasing for bullion value but I do want the coins to look decent. The 2 AU coins were ok, one was a low end AU but still an AU and the other was a low end AU at absolute best. But in the end nothing to really complain about. Of the 2 common circulated coins, one was probably close to VG+ so that was good but the second was certainly a cull. They have a separate category for cull which I avoided because I do not want culls. I reached out to Money Metals to discuss this but their response was underwhelming. I sent them photos of the actual coins as well as photos of the weights and diameters to show the drastic difference between the amount of wear of the 2 coins. Ultimately they said they don't differentiate between culls and common circulated even though they list 2 distinct categories, one for culls and one for common circulated, and told me I should just purchase AUs and that was it. So bottom line, I was underwhelmed with the quality of my purchase and more importantly their customer service.

Be careful if you place an order, by accident, and do not pay. I was trying to SELL to them, but I had insufficient funds when they went to take my money. Now, you'd think this is not that big of a deal, but to them it is. I am not longer allowed to do business with them. Insane isn't it? An honest mistake, only one accident, and POOF no more business!? Crazy crazy crazy.... It wasn't malicious, I can be dumb sometimes... too many selling orders on my part. NO MALICIOUS intent AT ALL. Spent THOUSANDS on their website, then BOOM, go f--- myself is basically what they told me. Just look at their name "mOnEymEtAlS" that should tell you everything you need to know about this company. TONS AND TONS of OTHER COMPANIES we can buy and sell precious metals from. LOYAL CUSTOMER, ONE ORDER MISTAKE, GOT DECAPITATED by this company. **JUST DO BUSINESS ANYWHERE ELSE BESIDES THIS COMPANY*** You didn't have to be like that MMX. Sad.

All I want is a receipt for my purchase WITH THE PRICE FOR BASIS. A receipt that provides the price paid, not just a list of what was sent (after several weeks). Their programming says it won't generate the form. The representative says i have popup blockers on. I dont have blockers on, I need pop-ups in my work from home. Don't let them get away with lying to you. Is it so hard to send a receipt with the dollar amount on it?????

Incorrect coin delivered; not the coin ordered.

Coins a good communication and delivery can't get much worse.

Money Metals gives poor service at times and doesn't want to hear complaints. They refunded my payment rather than shipping the order. There is much more, but all I can say is my experience suggests you should shop elsewhere.

Purchased a palladium bar at retail full price for a graduation gift. It arrived as offered once funds cleared, and packaged well. Upon opening you immediately noted that the actual bar was in poor condition. The back showed some fading and plastic blistering. The front package was also blistering and appeared as if someone carried in their wallet versus stored as true collectible. We wanted exchange only. Upon contact the employee provided the wrong email address for our concern and they leave for business day without resolve. They had email and order number from chat feature and chose not to use it. Called again this morning and immediately they turn dirty. We review video and believe we shipped item correctly. (Not a shipping complaint) They completely overlook their email and contact address error, and then proudly state you have been removed from future purchases. Oh and we will buy it back at a loss to you because of our shady business tactics and failure to properly and fairly represent item quality. Guess they also steal … since a refund was not demanded and they offer item is worth full value as a collectible. It should have promptly been exchanged.

Its the general practice this company uses. By claiming that this is such a great investment. They fail to mention there premiums are set at a high rate. You buy silver or any other precious metal with long term investment ideas. At the time i purchased silver it was around 24 an ounce. I bought 100 oz from them. Around 28 bucks an ounce. The people who buy precious metals from you. Will only pay spot price or if it goes up they will still be under spot. So silver and coin buyers rip so many people off
