This company rate changes based on the mileage you driving. First month low premium and chares much more if you drive more mileage than the first month. I canceled the policy but they still charged fee about half of premium. Actually this company was more expensive than major company. I would never go back to this company and totally not recommend.

Hi Sue - Mile Auto is a pay-per-mile car insurance company, and charges for the miles our customers actually drive each month. If you are not a low mileage driver, traditional insurance would be a better fit. But, for the tens of thousands of drivers across the country who trust Mile Auto for their low-mileage driving, it's a perfect fit. Higher mileage drivers should stick with traditional insurance companies that tend to overcharge lower mileage drivers. Thanks for giving Mile Auto a try. -Mile Auto Customer Success

Hello Solomon - we received your review on Trustpilot. Mile Auto is a pay-per-mile auto insurer - and thus our entire business model is to charge based on how many miles you drive. It is intended for low mileage drivers. Unfortunately, it appears that it didn't work our for you. But, it works perfectly for tens of thousands of drivers across the USA who trust us with the auto insurance needs. We hope you've found insurance more suitable for the miles you drive. -Mile Auto Customer Success

I called Mile Auto to update my payment information and asked why my rate increased? Cami said was standard increase for my state. I asked if there was any way to get my rate lowered and Cami asked if I was married and I said yes which got me a discount! My insurance agent had listed me as single when I went to Mile Auto for some reason. I could have had this discount all along! Thank you, Cami for helping me. It pays to ask questions and she was so helpful. Mile Auto's customer service is great!

He is extremely kind, empathetic, a great listener, super knowledgeable and very very professional..! If only ALL our customer service interactions could be with Agents like Clyde.! He is definitely ONE OF THE BEST...😊

Customer support is fabulous! At first, I was surprised there was no online app to handle my Mile Auto payments, view my policy, etc. Then, I realized, it's actually a blessing! It's so friendly and efficient to call someone on the phone! You don't need to worry about navigating a confusing web app or mobile app. I just spoke to Klyde and he was extremely helpful in changing my payment method and explained how payment methods are set up within the system-- only one payment method allowed, which is nice and simple. In this day and age we need more simplicity and more human contact! Agents can also email you things -- such as your policy documents. They can also help if, for some reason, you're unable to take an odometer photo by the deadline. Mile Auto is great!
