I no longer recommend this store. I bought a very expensive computer and a warranty costing nearly $300 that supposedly covered accidental damage; however, when I filed a claim, they gave me the runaround. They insisted I had to take the item in for repairs three times before I could even access the warranty coverage, stalling until the warranty expired and I lost the computer. I won't buy anything from them anymore; there are stores with better and more affordable warranties.

bought my refurbished Macbook pro 14 inch 2023 M2 with 8TB of storage. i have been using it almost every day with no issues for almost 1 year to the month. if in the future i need something else, the first place i look. is my local Micro Center in Sharonville. I thought the price was good, very good for what is was getting. would i recommend, yes, and i do recommend to anyone saying they are looking for something. everyone i come in contact with are all basically within 30/40 minutes from our Micro Center in Sharonville Ohio. good place to find electronic of any kind

Microcenter is a store with almost EVERYTHING! think about it as a Costco but with electronics. People expect pc building to have manual. but each part is different and there is no one way to do it with each part. cases, motherboards, water cooling or fan cooling, its all different. People cant expect instructions on how to build custom PCs and microcenter staff arn't to blame.

I recently purchased 2 items at my local store. Neither were as advertised. I do understand that the item descriptions come from their suppliers, but it doesn't seem that anyone verifies any of this info when providing it to customers. One of the items was an inexpensive cell phone to use as a spare. It listed dual 8MP cameras and a 5 MP selfie camera. The dual cameras was a straight up lie. It has one, with the other being an obvious fake "lens" and the quality is at best from the flip phone era. Granted, this was a cheap phone, but the website description as well as the shelf tag claim features that just do not exist on this item. The other item was a networking product that listed compatibility which was also incorrect. Other than that the store is an absolute mess. Products are scattered across multiple aisles. Speaking of aisles, about half of them you have to shimmy sideways through due to the waist high stacks of 3d printer filament running right down the middle of the aisles. I seriously wanted to call a city inspector because of this. But not all is doom and gloom. There was plenty of staff ready to check your items for commission stickers and put theirs on if they didn't find any. I used to really like shopping there, but the store has gone downhill fast.

Terrible quality on anything they refurbish, I have never seen or experienced someone with a higher fail rate on their product than Micro Center. Two Ipads conveniently outside warranty dates with 4013 Hardware faults.

I went in to purchase two laptops. One MSI and the other Lenovo. Both on line show limit 1 per household. I understand that. Limited quantity, special pricing and so on. I was told that I could only buy one OR the other. I need both. I got neither. Apparently ALL of their items, regarless of manufacture, if on special pricing are limited to one per house hold. Stupidest thing I have ever heard. Bet if I agreed to the extended warrenty they would have done it. I will look somewhere else to make my computer purchased from now on. Waisted an hour and half driving there an back for this bs.

This review is about the Santa Clara, California location. Initially I would have given this a 5-star review. Everything leading up to and including the Build and Learn was EXCELLENT. However, the after purchase is HORRIBLE. On June 13, 2026, I purchased the parts for my rig and participated in the Build and Learn ($350.00) that Micro Center offers. I wanted the NVIDIA 5090 GPU but they did not have any in stock, so I went with the next best one, the 5080. I have called several times, and yesterday they got a few 5090's in. I started texting the number of the tech that schooled me through my build, inquiring about the 5090 and that it was not on the website to purchase and hold. He told me it was not put on the website because they were concerned about scalpers. Fair enough. I asked for some leniency since I wanted to return my 5080 and purchase the 5090, obviously, I am not scalping. The number I texted was, I'm assuming the tech phone because I had Angel respond. Now I've sent an email to both the Ops manager, who introduced himself to me after my build and the tech. No answer to my emails. Even though 3 weeks ago I spent over $7000.00 on not only my rig but the extended warranties and Priority Care+, and it was obvious I was trading up they would not even hold it overnight. The answers to my text came at a snails pace. I am still within the 30 day return window and I am seriously considering just returning the whole rig if this is the kind of after purchase care I can expect!!

I was looking into purchasing a $3500 computer had some questions. I called at 8;30 pm ( call center closes at 9Pm) wait on hold for 30 months I was number 1min queue 9 pm they cut me off and hung up with call back during normal business hours??? I did call during normal, business hours! I can only image what support will be if I did buy a machine. Bye bye off to a competitor!
