Mia MelonReviews of miamelon.com

I needed to exchange my coat as the first order was too small. I had a trip coming up in a week and they were able to send it out right away from the warehouse so it reached me in time. I also asked a lot of questions about the fit of the new jacket and they were very helpful so I could make a good decision.

Terrible and disappointing company. I’m another kickstarter backer who supported the company several years ago for several hundred $ and never received a product. I’ve tried reaching out to the company through various methods with no response. This seems to be a trend with Mia Melon. Do not support or buy from this company!

Such beautiful, unique outerwear with vibrant colors and gorgeous cuts! Really great customer service too, such a lovely company. I got my first Mia Melon jacket three years ago, and I keep coming back to expand my collection.

My initial purchase put customer service to task, to which Tanya stepped up. Utilizing her knowledge of miamelon merchandise, she suggested an alternative to my original choice, and authorized its speedy delivery in time for my trip. Never has a customer service experience been so pleasant! And the coat is a perfect fit, the color stunning, and the style flattering.

I am so impressed with the quality of this wool coat. Since I received it I’ve been wearing it every day in heavy snow and rain. I only wear a thin long sleeve shirt under and the coat is plenty warm. Beautiful details, amazing fabric, and the fit is so flattering. I really want a second one in a different colour because I love it so much. Customer service is great too.

Fraud, beware! Ordered from this company, they promise to deliver but it never arrives. I contacted them a number of times via email and Instagram, they just ignore me and block me. Very dissatisfied. I would rather put my money to charity than to this company. If Mia Melon needs financial help, they should at least tell us. Ignoring us is the worst treatment to your customers! My reply to Mia Melon: I am backer #38 on your Kickstarter project: Sustainable Fashion High-Performance Wool Coats, created by Todd Listwin. No coat has been sent to me in Sydney Australia and you have ignored all my emails and Instagram messages. Very disappointing with the company's honesty! Updated review: I have received the coat and love it very much. It is warm and stylish. Unfortunately one button is broken when I first received it. However it is not a big deal. If the delivery process is not that troublesome, I would order from them again.

I love these coats!! The quality and craftsmanship is unparalleled. The design, the colors, the fit, absolutely top quality. My first coat is over 5 years old and I STILL get compliments on it. Customer service is outstanding. I accidentally left my coat at a friends' so used this opportunity to order a new one! Unfortunately, I ordered a size too small. Tanya was very helpful and sent out my replacement immediately!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Edited for detail: Even though over the years I have had problems with lengthy shipping times, weird sizing issues and being given a $75 USD credit that never worked and that no one would respond to questions about, they make some nice coats for Pacific Northwest weather. I bought 2 on sale in December because I lost weight and needed to size down. Their sizing is so erratic that one size down was way smaller in shoulders and arms. I gave one to a friend and emailed to exchange the other. Miraculously Tanya responded on January 19 and said the larger size was in stock in their store and she would mail it out with tracking. When I called to check after no follow up she replied on January 25 that they would ship the coat from Vancouver store that Friday with tracking. No response to February 2 email asking about status or February 3 email noting that their service phone line was now disconnected. On February 8, Google maps said their physical store in Vancouver is permanently closed. After posting complaint here and at BBB got an email March 1st apologizing for confusion and saying they couldn’t find tracking, and would send a different color coat from US warehouse. Was then sent an order confirmation/packing list headed CUSTOMER PO SUMMARY FOR FALL 2018 (?) and email saying I would be getting a tracking number from USPS. Got another email on March 10 saying order had shipped. The USPS tracking link says a package is currently (as of March 16) moving through Illinois after leaving Blaine Washington warehouse on March 13. This is sad since I live in British Columbia very close to Blaine. So we’re going on 2 months now since I started trying to exchange, and I hope the coat shows up soon. It’s really sad they are so erratic because there are some beautiful coats if you can ever get them!
