They have some of the worst service and devices! My moto G always freezing or glitching, I didn’t even want this phone… Yet the agent at the store just kept pushing it off on me.. when I stated I wanted the Galaxy. On top of horrible internet to be 5g, they also don’t have any real extension time; like Verizon or Att or T-Mobile themselves.. A 72 hours extension is not a real extension! other companies give you a lot longer then 72 hours I’m about to switch from Metro again

I paid for eSim to switch phones I ended up having no service. Wasted at least seven hours between stores and online customer service to fix the problem and still have no line and no service

Everything EVERYTHING FOR ONE THING A SOMEONE I KNOW HAS A METRO P.C.S PHONE BUT THEY CANCELED METRO PCS SERVICE TO SWITCH TO ANOTHER NETWORK WHICH IS FINE BUT METRO LOCKED 🔒 THERE PHONE SO THAT THEY COULDN'T SWITCH OVER TO THE NETWORK OF THERE CHOICE 🤔 THERE PHONE FROM METRO IS LOCKED UNTIL NOVEMBER METRO IS VEEY WRONG ON THAT PLUS ➕️ EVERY END OF THE MONTH METRO PCS WOULD TURN YOUR SERVICE OFF UNTIL YOU PAY YOUR BILL .JUST REMEMBER THEY HAVE SERVICE WITH METRO ON A MONTH TO MONTH BASIS SO WHY TURN THERE SERVICE OFF EVERY MONTH .WHAT A DAM DISGRACEFUL THING TO DO WHEN YOUR PAYING YOUR BILL EVERY DAM MONTH SO WHY TURN THERE PHONE OFF .GETTING BACK TO MY STATEMENT PHONE IS LOCKED UNTIL THE ONE year wtf so there stuck with METRO until the year is up .who does this only metro I advise everyone to not pay a phone from metro psc there SERVICE is ridiculous that's why I call there phone service METRO PIECE OF SHIT GOOD FOR NOTHING

Well metropcs is not honest with there whole company. I asked for my account number and my transfer pin number they gave it to me they never said that you have to stay with us for a year before you can switch over to another company. I went to switch over to another company and my phone was still locked. I went to the metro pcs store twice and the lady looked into the phone and did nothing to unlock my phone. And then the second time I went to the store and a guy that was working the second day said you not with us anymore so I can't unlock your phone he was very rude with his attitude. I will Never deal with them again. They have very poor communication skills and they just want the money that's all. I call them metro piece of shit. Cause that's what they are. They have no good service at all. They are all about the money that's it. Metro sucks big time.

I swear I'm backwards. And you have low rating here I find them fantastic I get internet but no problems with I get awesome reception I got phone with unlimited data unlimited calling internet hotspot and I got a tablet with data on it I give that to my mother because she's older this is the only way she had internet. and all of that I get for $130 wait. plus I get Amazon prime and Google one included in it. The new phone once a year I've been with them about 15 years I switched twice and I will not name the companies because I already have bad reviews in about those companies just because it doesn't have a contract doesn't mean it's not a good phone company people just because you're not paying an arm and a leg doesn't mean it's not good service! They give you three day extension on your bill if you have another bill you have to pay it first you need a couple days no problem so I ended up going back to them and I'll probably stay with them till I die after what I've seen that's out there I don't have to have a contract to make me seem cool I like inexpensive with good service

I purchased a “Pay as you go” plan, not a phone. Talk about a cumbersome experience getting it activated. I have used several pay as you go plans over the years and most are quite simple to activate and start using within minutes on any device. TracFone is hands down the most user friendly and I would have continued using, but the store was out of SIMs. I decided to give Metro a whirl and am now kicking myself. Despite what you think, it cannot be done on the internet and must be done through their customer service and must be tethered to a specific device. I called and got connected with someone from India who spoke little English. I gave him the IMEI number to my device which he said is locked and I would need to buy one of his phones. I told him repeatedly that I am looking right at the settings in my device that says SIM unlocked. He handed me off to someone who spoke even less English who argued that I need to buy one of their phones. I asked why would I buy anything from you when you can’t set up my existing phone. Miraculously he determined my phone was unlocked and proceeded to try and sell me a tablet. Eventually he activated my SIM and asked what plan I wanted. I mentioned the 6 month plan for $120. He tried to tell me that plan was no longer available. I lost my temper and told him to check their MF website, its on their as we speak. He let out a deep sigh and said he would make an exception for me. When this 6 month plan is up, Metro and I will be parting ways.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I purchased a phone at a lower rate as they were having a "deal". Be wary of their deals. Metro is a cellular service that has no contracts. You pay month to month. Well, guess what? Turns out the good deal I got on the phone wasn't such a good deal. The phone is locked to metro for an entire year! You can't switch service with the phone you paid for!!! It's your phone, you paid for it. So, that's where they stick it to you. You can get the phone for a great deal but you have to stay with Metro for a whole year before YOUR phone gets unlocked!!! And here I thought they don't do contacts.......

It is impossible to obtain a Transfer PIN or any help when you have lost your phone trying to keep your same telephone number. The customer service representative even hung up on me instead of trying to provide a solution. I am very disappointed with MetroPCS!
