I wanted to love this product but it needs a lot of work. It basically has no sensors, so when it runs it will not stop if a cat is near. This is dangerous so I have to manually cycle it to avoid my cats getting hurt. The waste bin is also completely exposed when it runs its cleaning cycle. So you smell everything, and the gel makes it worse because it’s like perfume trying to mask a smell that it cannot. The litter box is also super tall, I had to buy a step to help my pets get into it, so I don’t recommend for seniors or kittens to use. Overall it’s okay but I wouldn’t buy it again.

While the unit does not have an external radar sensor around the perimeter, it is equipped with infrared sensors inside the drum. If a cat enters or is detected inside during a cleaning cycle, the machine will stop immediately to prevent any risk. 2. Odor Control: The waste compartment is located at the bottom and is not fully sealed, so some odor may escape during the cleaning cycle. We recommend replacing the waste bag regularly and using the deodorizing gel to help minimize odors. 3. Height: We understand that the unit may be tall for some cats. Placing a step or ramp in front of the entrance is a great solution, and many of our customers with senior cats or kittens have found this helpful.
