Comes almost fully assembled. Very easy to put together. Unfortunately, I have cats that chew on these skinny cords so I have ordered a plastic tubing I can put the cord through to keep my cats from chewing the cord to pieces. I have several automatic cat boxes and so far, I like this one the best. Good size (no excuse for the cats to miss the hitting the litter) and most importantly, very quiet operation.

I really love this cat box. But I have to give a low review due to the silicone has scratch holes in it from my cat and that is not under warranty. But when I go to buy a replacement drum they are all sold out. I have complained about this and all I was told was that the ones they have go towards the warranty replacements. Were does that leave me? With a box that spits litter out the bottom when the drum turns and wasting litter. So if you have a cat with claws beware. They have been unavailable for 2 months and they will not make one available for to buy.
