Be careful
My package made it from southern California to Sparks Nv where FedEx informed me they sent it back as it was damaged. I called a phone number I found in an email from Carter at meetone. The guy that answered meetone said it’s common for that to happen as it weighs over 150Lbs and stated employees from FedEx are understaffed and underpaid. I asked him why are they using a parcel service rather than freight to prevent damage and he told me it’s $300 to get it to me and it would double to $600 for a $1699 trike which is almost half the value and we’re a small company. I asked him why he thought all of this was my problem and he said I should call FedEx and continue the delivery. I started feeling I was asking too much so I took his recommendation and called FedEx. They told me they can only do business with the shipper and not me so I called the meetone guy back and he said he would contact his shipping salesman and see if he could get it coming my way and if it was repairable they would send me parts and I could have a bike shop fix it. I said why should I have to go thru this and just send me a new one. He said he’s tried that before and it ends up damaged as well because of the route we are on. Some routes have poor handling and some don’t. Again I said how is this my problem I want a refund now and he said he couldn’t help me and that I had to wait for finance to show up next week. More excuses. I’m tired of typing this complaint now but it went on for another week before I had to basically threaten to file a dispute with my bank and even then I had a hard time getting a refund like 6 more emails and two phone calls. The free accessories came to the house in a separate package and getting a return label from them was like pulling teeth. It went out today! Iam retired and had to quit to caregiver full time so I don’t have time to babysit this company but if you do I still feel the trike is the best one! Getting it there is a whole other story! Good Luck!
