Too much trouble.
Will be canceling after one month. It was always going off for no reason.

If you're frustrated that the fall detection pendant is activated frequently, we can easily switch out the fall detection neck pendant for a regular neck pendant (that is not fall detection-enabled) so you can still be protected in your home without having to worry about the system creating false alarms. Honest sales people and easy set up
My Mom originally set up with another provider who was hard sell -- she didn't understand the product, couldn't get in touch with him again and she never received their product. Mary from Medical Guardian couldn't have been any nicer or more informative. No hard sell and honest clear information. The system works exactly as described. One suggestion -- if there is an issue and they reach out to the designated contacts, the caller ID doesn't identify you as Medical Guardian. When an incident happened in October, all of my contacts ignored the call -- thinking it was one of the many political calls that we all received during the election. Other than that, this system has allowed me to stay in my home. Very happy with it

I would give 5 stars
My mom was outside placing ornament stake out and fell into bush got up right away, the alert did not go off for fall detection ?

Hi Angie, Thanks for reaching out! While the Premium Guardian with fall detection is designed to detect most falls, it unfortunately does not detect 100% of falls. Helps my mom live independently!
The first time my mom used it she had fallen. Her coment was, "I didn't think it would work" Sure enough, the fire department arrived shortly after she pushed the button. Since she is very independent person, this allows her to live alone in her own home.

While the concept is great, there are a few concerns.
We were excited to purchase this product for our 94 year old mother. We have concerns because it takes longer for them to respond to the initial phone call (it rings 5-7 times before someone answers) than we thought. The other issue that we are having is that Mom is hard of hearing and cannot understand what the response person says. We have told her to just say "I need help" and someone will come. I think the unit is too high in treble and needs to have more bass in order to stop the clanging sound that Mom hears with her hearing aids on.

Hi Pearl, Thanks for reaching out and for your feedback! If your mother has difficulty hearing the emergency operators through the Home Guardian base station, a possible solution is changing the volume on the base station. At the bottom of the screen, there are plus and minus signs that designate the volume level, so changing the volume may help her hear the operator better. But you are right -- in an emergency, if your mother simply says "I need help," our emergency operators will send help to her right away! We hope this helps, Pearl, and thanks again for reaching out!
