I wish I had read these reviews before placing my order for holiday garlands. Two weeks later and they still haven't shipped. If they have, I haven't been notified. Maybe I'll get to decorate for Christmas 2023. Glad I paid $60 in shipping!!! Will never buy from this company again!

What a joke of a company. Quick to take money and then provide 0 updates on items ordered before the Thanksgiving holiday that the website said would ship immediately. I've followed up on multiple occasions with no reply, yet here they are replying back to people on this website. These people have no idea how to run a company. For the prices and the "handling" fees, I expect a much better service. This is my last time ordering from these people. Don't buy into the hype.

I waited for the Black Friday sale to order a rug for my sons room and shelled out $700 for it. I received no email confirmation but my card was charged. I have called every day since I placed my order on Nov 21 and no one has called or emailed me back. My sons new room reveal is part of his Xmas present and this is completely unacceptable. Zero communication. Feels like fraud. Save urself the time and money and go to Target or way fair for ur home goods or amber interiors. I think McGee is trying to scale up too quickly and leaving customer service in the dust. Definitely not a good reputation that they are making for themselves. I hope someone in their company reads this. Trust me. DONT ORDER! I wish I would’ve come to this forum and have read the reviews before I placed my order. I ultimately had to call my bank to dispute the charge.

I ordered the Bethany chest Feb 2022. The ship date has consistently been pushed back just as it approaches the most current ship date. I have had to initiate the majority of communication regarding the cheats delivery dates. I just received yet another notification of delay, all while the item remains listed on the website with a 10-12 week lead time. Bottom line, if you want your items in a timely manner with open direct communication meeting expectations outlined prior to purchase DO NOt order from McGee and Co. I have noticed the same chest offered on other websites and wonder if they might have been more successful at delivering the product in a timely manner

Like everyone else. The ABSOLUTE worst!! Charge you thousands of dollars up front and then take FOREVER to ship anything. Even better when something arrives, they tell you a few days later. We are in 2022. And the return shipping plus the restocking fee is absolutely obscene. Do yourself a favor and buy from SHOPPE AMBER INTERIORS. A lot of the same product but a company that is actually run well, and frankly better style.

I've been ordering from McGee and Co. for 3 years now, furnishing our entire house. Throughout this timeframe I have placed about 10-15 orders. Even during the middle of the pandemic I found that their shipping timeframes were still consistent and was kept in the loop. Their quality is second to none and while some pieces you can find elsewhere their upholstery items are without a doubt high quality. They're made local and the craft and care that goes into the sofas is just unreal. I believe I've had only one issue with one product that was shipped and arrived damaged (these things can happen) that they quickly rectified and fixed which with their customer service continuously has me coming back. I absolutely love the vendors that they partner with and cannot rave enough about their products. A lot of recent reviews are based on shipping, but if customers would read it says when the Estimated Ship Time is (typically 5-7 business days) and then right below that it says the additional 7-10 business days right now due to a new inventory system. I've emailed Customer Service for various things in the past for product questions and never one did I not receive a response back between 1-3 business days. I'm a big fan of Studio McGee/McGee & Co. and for me the wait is always worth it.

Terrible customer service and shipping in my order. I ordered a swatch on October 16 and have yet to receive it. I called customer service several times only to get voicemail after waiting online for a long time. I also emailed several times to find out how long this swatch will take. They kept making excuses, but still no swatch. I was hoping I would like the swatch and then order the rug. I have now missed all the black Friday and cyber Monday sales. Why would it take almost a month and a half to receive a simple swatch? It’s really too bad because I think their items are quite nice. But I will not be buying from McGee and Company. Please do not reply with the standard explanation that you’ve given so many other poor reviews. I’ve read your explanation and I still don’t think it excuses you from horrible customer service.

No updates on Christmas items, plus home decor items I ordered almost 3 ago weeks ago. I paid shipping fees on top of extra handling fee. There is no excuse for the long shipping delays especially when you pay premium shipping prices.
