I hate Marriott Bonvoy!! Especially those customer services who supposed to help out/solve problems for the prospective guests. No, they told me “let me tell you what! , bla bla bla. “ is this how Marriott treat your customer! My story is long and I don’t want to bother again. I need to figure out how to solve problem myself. Will try to avoid with this chain hotel. HYATT is way much better! No picky, no fuzzy like this old Marriott Bonvoy

We went to the Marriott Delta hotel in Liverpool one queen square. The reception staff were friendly and helpful the room clean and in good order however the service at Breakfast was poor the chef who was supposed to be in hand to prepare eggs was no where to be seen after 10 mins he arrived dirty and disheveled and in poor humour the poached eggs were hard boiled the fried eggs uncooked on top burnt on the bottom he then disappeared and we witnessed more guest’s waiting. The waitress had to get another chef in the back to do them and find condiments There is no restaurant for the evening only limited bar food and the barman could not see the till properly and also was absent for long periods of time and was not welcoming to the guests

This review is to stress the lack of real support from the Bonvoy Help Desk which I contacted using a complaint form on the Bonvoy website. As a Platinum elite member I was denied the daily F&B guaranted (per T&C) option as welcome gift. Not offered by the AC hotel where I am currently staying at. Only 500 points or amenity. After failing to get the hotel to comply and offer at least free breakfast, I raised a request for assistance against the Marriott Bonvoy help desk. Well they responded with 48 hours just to say they were saddened by my poor experience but not offering any help. I reacted to the mail. Got another mail but still no support at all. Just the link to the Marriott Elite benefits 🤣 . I am waiting for the answer to my email asking them if they have any desire to support elite members and providing them with the verz clear T&C section supporting my request. In the meantime the hotel admitted their failure to fully comply with the T&C and offered me breakfast for free. Bottom line: elite status seems to be a joke with regard to Marriott corporate support teams. Kind emails but no action. Resolution left to the elite member. Self-service.

They made a huge deal about my preferred name on the points account. Verification could not be made with the email address and phone number that only I have, with matching address. It had to be my "correct" name which is what the representative referred to my legal name which guest services, of any organization that wants to be "guest" services and not government services, should not be calling my legal name. The only time I use that legal name is on government documents. If you want to treat your guests like guests and not like strangers don't be like Bonvoy. Be better. Call your guests by their preferred names. You can be normal and good and better by doing what industry standard of verifications are, using other electronic devices. Instead I had go through this whole process of sending a copy of my driver's license which I had to convert to pdf from a photo that I took on my phone and send to an email to bonvoy, all because I couldn't log into my online account.

This program is a disgrace to the hospitality industry. I am willing to give my paid in full time share to anyone who wants it. If I could give -5 stars I would.

Not even 1 star. They lack understanding and empathy towards their members. NEVER TRUST THEM WHAT THEY SAY ON THE PHONE. It’s all lies just to make you happy. IT IS A TRAP. I would call this unethical and cheating.

I was an event planner this summer, and booked a block of rooms at a 4 Points by Sheraton (a Marriott property). Was told at the time of contract that I would receive Bonvoy points based on the amount of $$ that were spent, and credit of points for all those who reserved but did not use a Bonvoy account. It is now Nov. 15, and I finally received a credit of 14,600 points to my Bonvoy account. Not only is a pittance of a credit, but it was NOT what I was quoted a month ago that would be credited (19,226 points). The hotel here has changed all their upper management up to the regional sales manager since the event, so I kept getting pushed around to other people. The hotel itself would rate a 4-star for service, 3-star for quality of the property (it was all clean and in good working order, but needed a refresh on the decor). The food we had was good, and the folks that took care of us while we were there were very service oriented. It's a shame to have to submit a horrible review, but the issue with the Bonvoy program has soured my taste for ever staying at a Marriott hotel.
