Ive never had a problem. I like the fact that you can chose a more superior room for more points. With IHG you usually only get a standard room option (I often then call and pay to upgrade, but this is up to the hotel whether they allow that option) I have stayed in some really nice hotels thanks to the rewards. Just stayed at the Grosvenor Square Hotel in Mayfair in a terraced room, had a fantastic time - Thank you Marriott!

Marriott Bonvoy rewards are absolutely frustrating. Do yourself a favor and go to any other hotel rewards. This one is the worst. Support is almost non-existent and then the reps don't even know what you're talking about even though you're reading it directly off of the website. Terrible rewards system.
