Fort Collins, Colorado Marriott: I am dissappointed in Marriott as a Brand! I am a Taitanium Member. First, let me preface this by saying, I love the Marriott brand. I have been with Marriott for over 14 years officially, I have been with the brand longer before the benefits accounts. I have faced my share of racism in my time, but I never thought that I would have to face it where I choose to spend my money. I am a retired U.S. Army 1SG, retired government official, and now I am a government contractor, I have over 45 years of government experience. I travel a lot with the government, and I usually travel by myself as a black american and I usually just srug small things off as there is still pockets of racism in the housepitality industry. But, I draw the line, when I experience racism with my spouse that happens to be white. This is 2026, and we..., I should not have to deal with this today. I was embarrased to call myself a Marriott member on this day! I will never stay at this hotel again! I am really being nice, as I really wanted to say a few other choice words. I know that nothing will be done about this as you will surely just push it under the rug. But think about this, I am only one, with social media these days, things can go viral and hurt or put a stain on your Marriott brand! I emplore you to stand up for your brant that so many people like me spend their hard earned money to stay here. I am more dissappointed, than anything. I want nothing more than a simple apology for my wife who had to endure this. Thank you for reading, a very loyal and concerned Marriott member!

It was approximately 10:45 pm when I checked into the Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Springfield North located at 2455 N. Glenstone Ave., Springfield, Missouri. I was exhausted after a particularly turbulent flight and was very thirsty. I politely asked Ashley, the front desk employee on duty, whether the hotel had small bottles of water available. Ashley raised her voice and abruptly told me no, directing me instead to a water jug and cups. There was one cup stored in a dirty wooden container, and was turned upside down, raising concerns about cleanliness. I then asked whether I could purchase a bottle of water with cash. Ashley refused, stating that accepting cash would disturb her cash drawer. I explained that I could provide the exact change, but she continued to refuse and appeared increasingly angry that I was asking to purchase water. Her raised voice, hostile demeanor, and unwillingness to provide a simple customer service accommodation made an already exhausting late-night arrival unnecessarily unpleasant. Ultimately, I had to leave the front desk and return later, when another employee was working, in order to purchase water. I found Ashley’s attitude and lack of courtesy unacceptable, particularly given that I was a paying hotel guest who had just arrived after a difficult flight. The experience left me feeling unwelcome and disappointed in the hotel’s customer service. As a direct result of this interaction, I decided to cancel a subsequent stay I had planned at this Marriott location. I am submitting this complaint because I believe guests deserve to be treated with courtesy, respect, and professionalism, regardless of the time of arrival or the simplicity of their requests. I hope hotel management will investigate this incident, address the employee’s conduct appropriately, and take steps to ensure that other guests do not experience similar treatment.

Their customer service is awful. Stop sending call centers over seas.

i went to the Springhill suites orange beach, at the warf, I got there a few hours before ck in and asked the guy can he fit me in , he said not yet, the district mgr was there , she says ck in is a at 4 , rude, and could care less about me the customer, all she did was chat with a woman, about her life and job, I heard her say, she was the district mgr , for also Pensacola and I think Atlanta, she should me more accommodating to customers , she should be fired , also the room was dark, gloomy, mirror in bath was dirty, and no hair dryer, really?? the pic of the place shows this grand pool area and its far from that, also the breakfast was not as described in was gonna, be and was terrible, , complete let down , thanks, troy

Had two Marriott hotel stays and did not get the points. Contacted Customer Support and they are slow to respond and did nothing to resolve the issue

Stayed at Marriott Aloft Magnificent Mile Chicago. Two months advance notice, had stayed there prior and gave them great reviews then. Made one request: A quiet room since I would be postop recovering, and a week long stay. Arrived, they made me wait for a 'special' room. This room had our heads PRECISELY under the free weights in the workout room. No sleep, no recovery. Marriott did not care, gave "hopes and prayers" and empty apologies. Staying at Hiltons now.

You sign up for the credit card and spend thousands of dollars on purchases and hotel stays and earn free nights and points. Good luck trying the use them. I can see all my points when I am booking and they offer a free additional night when booking 4 nights but then find out thats only if you pay with points. Paying any other way you get nothing. Trivago was cheaper but I fell for the booking direct gets you the best deal. Not true even when you check the best rate button, best for them not you. Their best rate guarantee is only valid for 24 hours after booking direct and I did not know that limitation as I tried to get help for several days before checking Trivago and then reached a human customer service rep.

Worse Hotel chain. Implement all sorts of bonus point promotions that comes with a catch. Come on, please implement a more straight forward promotion. Do not confuse your customers.
