Really disappointed with Malaysia…
Really disappointed with Malaysia Airlines on my recent flight. The crew made no effort to enforce basic safety rules the passenger next to me spent the entire takeoff on a phone call with her boyfriend. Flight mode? I checked and the onboard WiFi definitely was not working. It didn’t feel professional or safe, and it left a poor impression of the airline’s safety standards.

Malaysia Airlines failed us at every turn
Malaysia Airlines failed us catastrophically. My husband has a fatal airborne peanut allergy. Peanuts were served without warning, triggering a reaction mid-flight. Staff were robotic, policy-obsessed, and medically unprepared. The lead stewardess literally walked off when I alerted her, continuing service in the other aisle. A paramedic passenger had to intervene because crew couldn’t interpret their own medication list — not just for allergies, but any emergency. Their website told us to visit a Seoul office that had been demolished. They told us to search allergy info online, but their site search doesn’t work. Twitter support was confused, call centre staff were unhelpful, and complaints went unanswered until after our return. We cancelled flights out of fear, lost $3,771, and booked with Korean Air — who were compassionate, clear, and safe. This wasn’t just poor service — it was dangerous, dehumanising, and emotionally exhausting. I had an axiety attack on board. It wasn;t about them being perfect, it was about how they handled things once advised. We had flown with MA before and never any issues but they can't even understand their own medical protocols, it is not worth the risk. I had an anxiety attack, they dont even know their own medical protocols and documents. Never again.

Really disappointed with Malaysia…
Really disappointed with Malaysia Airlines. The ticket included complimentary WiFi, but they didn’t bother to turn it on for most of the flight. On a 6-hour flight, WiFi was only switched on in the last 2 hours — completely useless.
Service was equally poor. They served only one meal the entire flight, no snacks, no hot drinks, nothing extra. For such a long flight, that’s unacceptable.
Honestly, the experience felt cheap and careless. Such a shame from a national airline. Definitely my last time flying with MH119 or Malaysia Airlines.

Great carrier for great prices for the most part?
My flight experience at Malaysia Airlines has always been good. Kind air stewardesses and my kids have enjoyed flying with them in March.
Pretty decent choice when it comes to long haul flights. Some of their carriers do need to be updated in recent times though.

Flight disrupted by 11 hours- due to a technical fault with an earlier plane. After taking 2 weeks to investigate, we were offered some loyalty points as compensation. Safe to say, we won’t be using them as won’t ever fly with this airline again

Total scam of an airline
Total scam of an airline. I made a mistake with a booking and called them within 5 minutes of realising - before the invoice even came through via email. After 45 minutes on a call they are refusing to refund me. Every other airline has a 24 hour free cancellation policy for this very reason. Do not book with these guys - as you can see from all their reviews.
