. The times I've used it it has been great. My only complain is that sometimes the reception is not clear and I'm left guessing what they are saying. Maybe it was just that one time. I feel very safe having it and wearing it. I feel I have help just a click away. Thank you, Monica.

My mom must have somehow hit the button in her sleep which set off the alert. She also slept through the person on the speaker who was calling out to her. Life Alert tried reaching the family contacts but since it was 2 a.m. and they received our voicemail, they left a detailed message to advise that they received an Alert, with no response and were therefore dispatching emergency. She woke up to a very nice police officer asking if she was okay. The paramedics were also there in case she needed assistance. They got in with the "hide-a- key" which is hanging on the front door knob, which has a combination for the responders to enter the home easily (very worth getting)! We were sorry for the false alarm, but comforted to know of their response. Thank you!
