I got life station for my mother in …
I got life station for my mother in law. She had a heart attack fell in floor. It did not work. She passed away later after I found her at hospital. Fall detection does not work.

I am terribly sorry to hear about your Mother Bonnie. It is unfortunate but we are never able to guarantee that the fall detection will detect 100% of falls. People falling can occur in many different ways, and sadly the technology in the devices is not complex enough to register every single instance of this.

My father has dementia
My father has dementia. He fell a few times when he did not have a caregiver but he didn't remember that there was a button around his neck or another button that he could have pushed on the wall. So, it didn't work for us. I think it is a great idea, but if the patient has dementia, then I wouldn't bother because they won't remember what is around their neck.

Peace of mind
Every time we have called for assistance, everyone we have spoken to has been very friendly and helpful. It gives us peace of mind when we can’t be home with Dad.

Which company is it?
Don't like the company. I never get to talk to the same person twice. Always have to review my notes when I call. The person I want to talk to is always "out that day". Must be very high turnover. Also, the monitoring company for the burglar alarm at work is at the same address but called Affiliated. Are they the same company?

We have a monitoring center attached to our facility so that we can provide the best in-house monitoring possible. Also our sales agents are often very busy so they are not always able to talk to the same person when they call back in. For this reason we encourage you to have as much information about your account as possible on hand when you call.

My troublesome area is the slow …
My troublesome area is the slow response we get from our test calls.Several times when we tested the system to make sure it is working it rings numerous times shouting EMERGENCY but it is not interrupted by a real person. The call goes to a recording after about eight rings, that is too slow for a real time emergency. Helen
