My elderly mother frequently leans…
My elderly mother frequently leans against her button accidentally setting off the alarm to her annoyance. I am happy we are not penalized for false alarms. Responders are professional and helpful.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review Christine. While it is unfortunate that the button is being pressed accidentally, we would never penalize anyone for us. Part of what we hope for is that you almost forget you are wearing the device so it does not interfere in your everyday life. A side of effect of this would be that at times you may bump into something while wearing it and it would go off. We would much rather deal with the false alarms than have you not wearing the device when something actually did happen.

i had one instance where my alert…
i had one instance where my alert accidentally went off and I was unaware of it they sent help immediately. I would definitely recommend LifeStation

I don't have any experiences to report. Sometimes I remember to check in and say that I am okay, but what I am really doing is checking to see that someone is listening for my voice. Just like to know that you are really there. And you are.

LifeStation is very responsive
LifeStation is very responsive. My friend has triggered her alert several times recently and LifeStation always responds appropriately. Like another pair of eyes when nobody else is around.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review Laura. We never know if a button press if an emergency or not, so we have to take each event very seriously until we hear that the person is okay.

Luckily I did not have an emergency
Luckily I did not have an emergency, but when I accidently touched the button my alarm went off immediately. Therefore, I know that I do have an accident in my home, they will call me.

So good in so many ways
So good in so many ways, yet I get the feel that it's still not 21st century technology. The call unit is big and clunky, it takes longer than expected to connect, the volume is always too loud, and the range is still somewhat limited. I'd like to see the wearable call unit be redesigned to look a little more fashionable and more like jewelry and less like call button. Wouldn't it be great if the call button bracelet or pendant had a place on it to carry a list of meds and emergency contact information?Overall, it meets my mother's needs, the staff is professional, the equipment works as described, and the service was easy to set up.

You are right that the device could be more up to date in its technology, and while this is true across the industry, there have been no big changes yet. Trust me though when i say that people are working each day to try and make the devices as integrated with technology as possible, and each year we hope this will improve even further.

I love it I got for my granny
I love it I got for my granny! Only bad thing is you can’t hear or they can’t hear unless you’re by the base!

Thank you for the review Gloria. Because the base is not the loudest, we suggest putting in the center of the house so that it has maximum range. Unfortunately even in this case we can not guarantee that you will always be able to hear the device simply due to the fact that some houses/walls are very good at reducing the sounds that are traveling throughout the house.

Great service!!
Great service! I test the system monthly and the team is always there for me. Very helpful, courtious, and professional. I hope we never need their services, but I feel much better about my mother living on her own knowing LiftStation is there. More than worth the cost!
