I highly recommend my psychiatrist, Dr. Andrea Naaum, to those in need of a phenomenal psychiatrist. I never feel rushed, unheard, or that I’m just a number with Dr. Naaum.
Her knowledge and understanding is unmatched. I feel I have authority to give an outstanding review based on my depression, anxiety, BPD and sleep disorders. I’ve been a patient to many psychiatrists, and Dr. Andrea Naaum stands way above the rest!

Excellent care from Ayshea Beswick
I am a former patient of Dr. Ayshea Beswick, whom I met through Lifestance. While unfortunately I can no longer see Dr. Beswick due to recently changing insurance to a company not taken by Lifestance, I was incredibly satisfied with my experience. Dr. Beswick has worked for the past 3 years to help me overcome the issues I have faced, and I feel qualified to give a recommendation to anyone seeking support in any of her many fields of expertise. Specifically, I would like to highlight how easy she is to talk to while pursuing concrete steps for support. Dr. Beswick will not keep you out of the loop with your treatment, and will be open about your options for support, while being persistent in finding the perfect treatment for your specific situation - all in a comfortable, conversational tone. I personally have rather stubborn symptoms, and Dr. Beswick did not stop trying different treatment methods until we found a perfect fit. Overall, excellent care, professionalism, and receptiveness. Would highly recommend.

Not Safe for Immigrants of Traumatized People
I have been seeking care via this platform for nearly two years now. My doctor went on leave, and I was catching up my new one, Mackenzie Boyce, that I'm an immigrant, stressed and traumatized by the news—a normal response for someone who was once a refugee.
After forty-five minutes of a telehelath meet and greet, she called the cops to my house for a "wellness check." I agreed to a check because I figured it was just protocol, and it would be a simple encounter. She did not tell me it would be the police or how it would go or even contact my therapist (who I don't see via LifeStace).
Instead, the cops nearly pounded down my door, grabbed me by my arms, pulled me out of my house (I was in the middle of a work meeting), left bruises on my arms, and dragged me into an ambulance in front of all my neighbors and locked me in the psych ward for 10 hours. The hospital discharged me because I was stable. Who knows how insane my bill will be for that ambulance ride. She told them I wanted to buy a gun (what I really want is a bibi or air compressor to protect myself and my family, which I have not purchased), so now there's an "extreme risk protection order" against me (while my crazy MAGA neighbors get to have their semis). My partner and I were applying to foster children. I hold a teaching license and work closely with the community, which will now be impacted by this erroneous order. When I emailed her, terrified about what she'd set in motion, she said it was for the best.
She trusts cops. She thought the right thing to do to help someone who fears for their life, who escaped a totalitarian regime, who fears what ICE is doing (killing people in cold blood in their cars), was to call more police.
If you're okay with that, by all means, seek her care. But know that she will pass the buck, and you will be the one left dealing with the outcome.
It's been a few days, and I still shake when I wake up in the morning, and the mental health professionals who are supposed to help, empower, etc., have really harmed me and I'm not sure where to turn for help now.

A numbers of issues
A numbers of issues: 1) no structure when it come to notifying a patient if there is a change of provider.2) an ongoing issue with communication and they keep sending a wrong meds while I asked a numerous times that I don’t need it.
3) now due to a lack of communication I need to wait for my meds to be refilled and a false promise that it will be done from another doctor the day we discuss ( why lie if you are not certain)?

I would give them a lower rating if I…
I would give them a lower rating if I could. Their psychiatrists are all awful through and through. They push medication without even trying to understand your situation and if you get matched with a bad one, you can only switch once. They told me it was to prevent medication seeking and that they allowed exceptions depending on the circumstances, and told me that I could switch more than once because my first psychiatrist through them was triggering me deliberately. My current psychiatrist through them is dishonest about the side effects of the medication she's prescribing me, outright lied about it, and they aren't letting me switch. So now I'm on all of this medication and I have to get it from a liar who can't be trusted with my health because I can't just stop taking it altogether. I have a therapist through them too and she's really flaky. I started seeing these people as a continuation of my treatment from the inpatient program at Roger's but honestly I'm worse off than I was before all of that. I should have just taken my life instead of putting myself through all of this. You literally can't even pay people to care, and if you go through Lifestance then you'll be paying people to remind you of that.

The receptionist is a wonderful woman that makes you feel at ease. I came in for grief counseling after the death of my father. The therapist Pedar Herom was very friendly, very informative and very easy to talk to. He made me feel at home and definitely made me feel heard. He was very reassuring and very helpful and also gave me some mental tools to use to work thru this difficult time. I look forward to my next appointment.
