Horrible experience. For starters they got the date of our first appointment wrong and tried to charge me for their mistake. Then the person we hired to help us with marriage counseling was biased and destructive to our well being. I called to cancel our appointment 47 hours and 20 minutes before our next appointment and they decided to charge me for not cancelling 48 hours before. We trusted them. Very sorry for doing that.

Horrible experience. The APN, Judy Figueroa, didn’t even bother to make a note of medication changes that she prescribed and had notes of therapy recommendations she never made to me. The first 2 sessions while a student was in the room she was very pleasant but on the 3rd when it was just she and I she was dismissive and condescending. Don’t waste your money on people who don’t care about your mental health

Admin/Billing is Inexcusable - Taking a year to resolve Update 1/3/2023 - reduced to one star. I was contacted by customer service a few months ago, who committed to resolving this and communicating with me. NOTHING HAS SBEEN DONE I AM GOING TO THE BBB AND LICENSING BOARD There are (and have been from the start) extraordinary amounts of confusion, error and drama over insurance and billing, and now we are being ghosted by Lifestance Billing regarding incorrect insurance billing on their part. Despite being provided instructions in writing, multiple times, the billing is still wrong, and has been for months. Argh! Our provider will not cover any additional services until this situation is corrected, so we are having to go without services while we wait and wait and wait. We have done everything we can, emails, calls, follow ups, etc. I decided I'm just going elsewhere for my individual services. The providers, themselves are great; sad Lifestance does not provide the supporting infrastructure which, I'm sure, has caused the providers to lose more patients than just us.

If I could give negative stars, I would. The therapist was totally spacey, and couldn’t keep her appointments with my daughter. The second therapist was even worse, lecturing me on why I shouldn’t wear a mask even though I was sick and the appointment was for my daughter. She also put my daughter and me down for almost every answer we gave. To top it off, they “lost” one of my payments. Even after I showed them proof that I paid them, they told me I needed make a second payment and when they “find” the other payment, they’ll refund me. It wasn’t until I sought legal action that they stopped hounding me. And now? They can’t figure out how to submit my insurance correctly. It comes down to them wanting to charge absurd amounts but then not wanting those charges reviewed and discounted by insurance. I feel like they are nothing but a racket and only out to steal people’s money. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

I had a bad experience with a very disrespectful Lifestance therapist. I wrote a review detailing my experience on their Google page and it was promptly deleted.

LifeStance continues to text me regarding an outstanding invoice. This distressed me this afternoon. LifeStance should improve their billing department - and it appears I am in the consensus. I will continue to shut off my texting notifications.

Two stars because the billing issue was rectified after several weeks of back-and-forth and escalating to corporate. My therapist had no experience in what was advertised on the Lifestance website, and made my condition worse. I asked for a referral to a specialist several times with no follow-through - they just decided that I was not trying hard enough to make their type of therapy work. I was strung along for weeks, then finally moved on to someone who had experience in my issues (I had to find this person outside of Lifestance because they once again never followed up about a referral!). Months later, I was hit with a huge surprise bill from Lifestance. The billing department and customer care team said that I was not eligible for financial assistance because too much time had passed since my last appointment, and that my only option was a steep payment plan that I couldn't afford, or to risk getting sent to collections. It was not easy to contact anyone for help, a lot of phone and email tag. I reached out to corporate about the absurd bill and quality of care to ask if I could at least get a reasonable payment plan, and they completely removed the charge.

would give zero starts if possible. Receptionist was incredibly rude and unhelpful while trying to sort out insurance. She was the most unprofessional receptionist I’ve ever dealt with. I’m not one to write a review but because of her attitude and behavior, I’ve decided to take my healthcare elsewhere.
