Dear Tom and Deb, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I’d like to offer some clarity and advise that we do intend for your eligible medical needs to be shared. As a healthsharing ministry, we are always constrained by finite resources and can only share what is received in member contributions. We have been very transparent in informing all of our members through our monthly newsletters of where we currently stand with sharing into pre-2022 expenses. Melanie, Thank you for leaving us a review. If you believe you were overcharged, please reach out to our Member Services department to review these charges. Upon review of your membership and the expenses mentioned, I would like to advise that vaccinations are indeed a sharable expense. However, for children over 13 months old, the vaccinations are first applied to your Annual Unshared Amount and shared once you’ve met this total “out of pocket” cost. We could not find any apparent processing issues. We welcome the opportunity to further discuss any billing issues you may have, please contact our Member Resolution department and one of our advocates will be more than happy to assist you.

Dear Scott, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand your frustration and have made necessary efforts to obtain the required information from you. We have assigned a Member Resolution Specialist to work with you to find a resolution on this matter. We instituted our timely filing requirement in 2019 to ensure our members are following our mission and being responsible stewards of the community's resources. Our members are required to submit their expenses with all required documentation within 180 days of the date of service. This is a very imperative part of our Sharing Guidelines. We take our commitment to responsibly facilitate our members’ resources very seriously, which is why our community only shares eligible, reasonably priced medical expenses. Choosing healthcare providers who offer fair prices for medical services and requesting self-pay discounts are important parts of the healthsharing process. We have made updates to our policies and programs to align with changes in our community and to better benefit our members. Hi, Jim, thanks for providing your feedback. We do remain focused on sharing fair and reasonable expenses when bills are submitted by your provider. We do this if a self-pay discount was not discussed or given prior to receiving medical treatment. Joy - Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Over the past several years we have developed a backlog of expenses. This is true. Due to the fact that we tried to be all things to all people, a sort of catch all for our members’ medical expenses, whether large or small, Liberty HealthShare did its best to facilitate the sharing of all members’ eligible medical expenses. Therefore, we have made decisions to amend our sharing guidelines in order for our members to share each other's true burdens. We have been very transparent about the backlog and our plans to address it. We continue to update active sharing members via monthly newsletters, and they can see that year-to-date we have reduced the total amount of the backlog by more than 27%. Regarding expenses created in 2022, members have been sharing over 99% of these within 120 days and have remained consistent in this throughout the year. Since you left Liberty HealthShare in 2021, our customer service has improved tremendously. Member services is doing an exceptional job of educating our members, providing concise and knowledgeable information, and overall providing a very positive member experience. This has been proven in the recent reviews across many platforms. Liberty HealthShare continually strives to improve the HealthSharing experience by being transparent, available and shepherding the Christian tradition of healthcare sharing through prayer, education, personal responsibility, and stewardship of the communities’ resources.
