Buyer beware- they removed a review I did a couple years back and said it was “derogatory”? Misguided by sales people on phone call..

In 2018 we needed a more affordable option for health care. We used Liberty Health Share because of this. It saved us money in the first year or two compared to regular insurance. Our family at that time was perfectly healthy. However, in the years that followed things were very different. One of the most challenging things about this coverage is that you have to stay on top of submitting every little bill. If you miss any deadlines by even a day they will not reimburse you. We lost over 7,000 dollars because of a bill we didn't get submitted on time. Why was it not submitted? Because of a very traumatic high-risk pregnancy, (surgery at 14 weeks gestation) which included PTSD? We wrote to them and even with an explanation of emotional hardship nothing was paid. They also reserve the right to not pay if the procedure or medical recommendations, do not match what they deem necessary. I had fetal monitoring in the last month of my pregnancy 3x a week. They only paid for some of it. It was not necessary to them but my doctor thought it was?? The final decision to leave this company was Epic. Our son had cancer when he was nine. He had been clean for nine years. Unfortunately, he was rediagnosed with the same cancer in 2022. On top of this devastation, we found out that because it was not FDA-approved a life-saving bone marrow transplant would not be covered. This was recommended by all of the doctors. This stress and hardship led us to leave the company.
