We've been with Liberty for many years. Their reimbursement timeline and phone hold wait timeline has improved significantly in the last couple of years! This morning I only waited 6 seconds to speak with a very helpful representative. The only complaint I have is actually with the whole US healthcare system itself. There are many providers who claim to be part of the PHCS network that Liberty uses for processing bills, but who demand payment up front before providing service and then will not accept the standard PHCS repricing, so we're stuck with the balance after Liberty/PHCS has determined the actual fair healthcare price. We're stuck with that because we've been forced to pay it up front to receive care. Every insurance company uses this same process of repricing and it's a ridiculous process that leads providers to increase their charges beyond what they know they will actually receive from insurance. Just be aware that with Liberty, you have to be your own advocate and that for non-emergency services, a provider may demand payment up front and then not accept Liberty/PHCS's reassessment of the price even though they accept that same process with all insurance companies. That said, in total we've saved plenty of money over the years because of not paying the exorbitant insurance premiums in our state. Liberty's monthly premiums and annual unshared amounts are less than we can access for insurance in our state. We have unfortunately had quite a lot of out-of-pocket expenses because of what I described above, but it's not because of Liberty denying bills. It's because of the ridiculous health care and insurance process in the US. We desperately need single payer healthcare because the whole ridiculous process described above just wastes a lot of healthcare dollars in paying the people doing the billing and the back and forth plus the provider's time trying to get preauthorizations. Plus patient and family time is wasted trying to deal with the above.

I have been with this organization as a member for the past 20 odd years. They have been wonderful, though over the years, the sharing rules have tightened. The reason I don’t give this five stars is because most doctors offices have not heard of this, and will not accept this ‘insurance’

Helpful and reliable. We used them for over 10 years and while some bills take forever to get processed, overall it has been a good experience.

Any time we had to call we had great customer service. We never needed to use the insurance for any health related bills, so we cannot speak to that service, which is why we gave it a 4 rating. It was comforting to know we had insurance and that it was a Christian based company.

I was having issues with the company. I asked for prayer and the CEO of the company actually emailed me. Wow! I was shocked. He explained how they were handling the business and they are working through the issues. They are now paying their billings within 120 days and working through the others. When I was ill I had a very good experience. It was just afterwards, but I know it will be taken care of. The price is amazing for what I received. Thank you Mr. Morrow for contacting me.
