LaCenterra Lenscrafters charged me for someone else's glasses. Following week I noticed this and went in. They processed a refund but 2 weeks later I have yet to receive my $303.99. Store manager cannot get answers, customer service only disconnects me after they put me on hold. Headquarter number 5137656294 rings once and disconnects. I don't know how else to get my refund.

Be prepared for the worst. I went to my local LensCrafters to have some scratched lenses replaced. I love my frames and did not want to switch out as they were only a couple of years old and not heavily worn. The cost was quite excessive, but because I love the frames, I went ahead with it. Well, they called me a few hours later to tell me that they broke the frame and there were no more of that style to be had in the entire company. I could pick some new frames and have them made for no additional cost. I went to the LensCrafters website to just double-check and found they did indeed have my frames in stock online, so I ordered them promptly. When I went back to the store with my order, the manager said there was nothing she could do to reimburse me for the frames they broke and could not put a credit in to the order I made online. So I am essentially buying the glasses twice. And when I went online to chat about the order that has "being edited by the store" in the progress bar to see what is happening with my order, I was told to resubmit my RX and also that there was nothing they could do to credit me the frame cost broken by my local LensCrafters store. I let the online rep know I was not happy paying twice for the same frames and she simply wrote: I understand and apologize for the inconvenience. And then logged off the chat!!!! Seriously? I am completely disappointed and will look for a new provider for my needs in the future. So they can certainly say goodbye to a good client whose entire family shops for new glasses and contact lenses frequently. Such abysmal customer service is simply not ok and unacceptable.

This Downers Grove, IL Lenscrafters rocked my world in an awesome way! They are the top level of great customer care. It all began with my phone conversation with Dakota. She is so kind and knowledgeable and what's more, she's willing and ready to create a beautiful experience. Once my husband and I arrived to the location we were greeted by Dakota. Then, Maria took me into her care and treated me like a princess. She showed such friendliness and professionalism. I began to feel at ease. I finally was handed over to Dr. Santucci. I wish that I met her years ago. Dr. Santucci really listened to my concerns. She showed such compassion and care for me as a person. She explained so many things about my eyes/health that I never knew, but that I need to know. They all worked with my insurance and made extremely helpful suggestions. Their patience is unreal. I feel so blessed to have taken a chance on this Downers Grove, IL Lenscrafters!!

Sitting in the waiting room right now in the midst of another lockdown. There has been absolutely nothing done to limit the amount of people in the waiting room and we have been sitting in the waiting room for 40 minutes now while and endless parade of people coming in and out. Clearly they are only concerned about getting as many appointments in as possible as to the welfare of their patients.

Eye dilation should not be an additional charge of $39. The owner of the practice made it mandatory and insurance will not cover it unless you are diabetic. Imagine the shock of thinking your bill was $10 and then you are told $49 with a smile. This is bad business LensCrafters.

Purchase over $1000 worth of glasses (3 pair) over the last year. Stopped in to get my nose pieces replaced on my Michael Kors glasses and was told they don’t have them to fix my glasses but I could go down the street and pay someone to replace them! I have purchased my last pair of glasses at this place!!!!

When I was in Fairview Mall today, I dropped by Lenscrafters to see if they could help me out to tighten the arms of my glass frames. They were very kind and helpful in assisting me when my glasses were not even bought from them AND they did not charge me. I will definitely come here the next time I am looking for frames. Thank you!
