It's important to distinguish the difference between websites as this review is intended for lastminutetravel.com as opposed to lastminute.com (no experience with the second one). After seeing all the other reviews, I was really worried that this was a scam (please read my full post). I had a great experience for my resort stay in Puerto Rico (Wyndham Grand Rio Mar on August 2022) using this site for booking. I was referred on Google to this site because it had the cheapest rates for the room (compared to Expedia, Kayak, etc). I booked/paid the whole balance for my stay 2 months in advance and called the resort that they had my reservation paid on file (which they did). I had absolutely no issues and saved $300-400 compared to other sites. This company utilizes the Hotelbeds network, which allows them to get discounted rates in bulk that they pass on to the consumer. I did not have to make any changes to my reservation or date so I can not say how easy it is to cancel/change dates. If your plans are set and you aren't going to make any changes, I cannot recommend them highly enough as they don't get the credit they deserve. I felt obliged to put a good review up and will use them again in the future if they offer the best rates.

I have used Lastminute.com before and had no problem so decided to try them again for a trip to Vienna. I selected the hotel and flight option, and the room had an advertised price of £574 per person. When I clicked continue the next page showed the price as £625.90 per person after the travel pack was applied. I clicked on the chat box to speak to an agent, and got someone named Rose. I queried why the price jumped and she said that is the price of the travel extra pack with discount. I was told I can continue without the travel pack with a more expensive price. I said “so why can’t I continue with the price quoted originally?” To which the reply was “because that is the condition”. I said “so false advertising then” and got the response “no it is not” and you can ring customer services. I was really disappointed and noted “terrible attitude” to which I got the reply “we don’t change…you need to accept it”. The agent then closed the conversation. I was so shocked, truly unbelievable.

criminals - they appear with different name Bravofly and when you call you get Lat Minute Travel. We lost a full flex ticket because they were unable to change dates even they promised to do so. later they claimed the ticket was still active and considered it a no-show. We called multiple times to resolve but without success to resolve the situation. They just repeatedly assured they are still working on it then an auto-generated email from a different company then Bravofly instead Last Minute ended up in spam folder and the 2 weeks response frame in that email never has been brought to our attention nor a call to them was indicative about that 14d time frame or email sent to us.

Booked a flight to Palma de Mallorca in April for July. They sent an email changing the flights 4 times from different airports (which we accepted each time). The last time they changed it to Luton and we asked if there were any flights available from somewhere closer like Gatwick or Heathrow due to transport. We had no response through emails at all or they were automated and not much help when calling. When I got into contact with customer service they told me it was cancelled and they will put us on another flight. I emphasised the fact that the holiday was in a few days at this point and we needed to know ASAP and they assured us that that is fine. Days went by and we still heard nothing from LastMinute and had no clue whether we were on a flight or where we were going from. We assumed we had no flight, had to take matters into our own hands and directly call the airline to arrange a flight (which is their job). We are lucky we were able to go on holiday at this rate but it caused a lot of stress and based on the principle we paid for a service, which we barely received. We also arranged coach transfer through the last minute booking, which also messed us up once we got to Palma because there was no communication about change of flights, leaving us to sort that out once again. I want this issue addressed as it still hasn’t been and want to know the best way to leave a formal complaint. Do NOT book through them!

Lastminute pretended my flight didn’t exist so i couldn’t change it, I even sent the guy on the phone a forward of the flight confirmation email and he pretty much acted like a spastic. These guys are thieves, look at the reviews and you’ll see I guess

They have a 24 hour cancellation policy however the website takes time to create an account and activate to cancel. We tried to cancel a ticket within 24 hours, website was not working. Tried to call the airline and the call cut off. So we couldn’t get any help by phone. They say 24 hour means same day.. that does not make sense, same day cancellation and 24 hour cancellation is different. 24 hour should allow from one evening to next evening. They take minutes to account, but the website was playing up and giving error messages. I was stressed about cancelling so did not even take screenshots but do have a call i tried to make after trying to log in few times within like an hour late. We spoke to 2 agents neither of them were helpful, no customer service, no understanding. The booking was 26th EVENING and we tried to cancel 27th EVENING. Still within a day! Booking ID 2078120079 Do not use this airline the customer service is poor.

I booked a ticket to Norway, last week Sunday evening 26th and tried to cancel 24 hours later on the 27th Monday. I am surprised the airline was very particular about timings. I tried to call the airline because the website was difficult to sign in to. I could not get in to the website. From the time of booking to trying to log in was less than 24 hours but by the time i tried to create an account with error messages, log in and tried to contact the agency for help, it was just a few minutes over 24 hours but still the following day of 24 hours. I called the agency to inform them of the trouble i received with the website, the agents, 2 different agents i spoke to were not helpful at all. Just straight up quoting it was not cancelled same day. If the policy is 24 hours it should take i to account the next day. As an evening booking only has 4 hours left till midnight and does not make sense to cancel the night of. It is not our fault we couldnt log in we even tried to call for help but the call got cut off. Booking ID 2078120079 . It is not like we left it a couple of days to cancel, we did try cancel following 24 hours. The customer service is aweful, they don’t even try to help. Do mot use this site.
