Last Minute TravelReviews of lastminutetravel.com

I am surprised that lastminute is able to compete in the market, extremely high prices and it's fairly dubious whether the flights offered actually exist at said price, based on these reviews. Oh for the heady days of the 90s!

I was disappointed with the Lastminute Customer Service. I made a mistake with my flight booking (booked the wrong time for my return trip- same day and price on both options though), realized my mistake just a few minutes after receiving my confirmation email and called customer service immediately hoping they would be able to fix it for me. This should have been a straight forward operation particularly because the flight I booked and the one I should have booked were exactly the same price and were just a few hours apart. Instead I was told that that wasn’t possible despite calling minutes after I booked my tickets, that if I wanted to change my flight, I would have pay change fees and price difference fees (which didn’t make sense to me because both flights were coming up the same price) and that this can only be done through the last minute website. I went on the website and requested a flights change. Hours later I received an email with an modification quote of £400 for a flight that was coming up at exactly the same price as my flight. Having paid 600£ for my flight, adding 400 £ to delay departure by a few hours felt extortionate and opportunistic to me. I mostly felt let down by the customer service who failed to assist me in a fairly simple and straightforward query that didn’t require 400£ in fees to be performed. Sihem Saad Booking n° 1458413108
