I think Kohls has overpriced merchandise and for that exact reason I never shop there. However, I've received gifts I've returned and have store credit to use up. 2 years have passed and I finally go to use the credit. I purchase a small item and decline a bag for my purchase. I was told I couldn't leave the store without a bag. Are you kidding me? In this world today, you are telling me I cannot save the company 3-6 cents by declining a bag? If you are worried about theft, do what grocery stores do and put a bright sticker on it to show you purchased the item. One more reason to NEVER come back to this store. Wake up! Consumers are changing and demand a more conscientious business model when it comes to the environment.

Stephanie saved the day for me at the Kohls in Midland, Texas.
Last minute business trip to Midland, Texas. Accidentally left a suitcase back in Dallas.
The suitcase had all my unmentionables and some long sleeve tops. I was online and saw That Khols was having a super sale. So I decided to head over.
I am so glad Kohls was right by my hotel. It was almost closing time and I didn't have much time to shop. That'a when I flagged Stephanie ( sales associate ) down. She was so pleasant and friendly, did I mention Knowledgeable. She knew that store inside out. She helped me shop and made some great suggestions. Definitely manger material. If it weren't for her experience and knowledge of the products. There is no way I would have been able to purchase all the items in that short amount t of time, that I had to shop. Not only did she say help me shop. She also checked me out promptly and in a timely manner. She also saved me like 30% off my total bill. She was just a delight. Well groomed, well spoken overall just a very nice you lady. I live in Dallas, but visit midland often. I will definitely come back to this store!

Love using coupons, but their website is not good
I love using coupons and Kohls is great with that but would rather buy in the store if I am going to shop with Kohls, and with most companies, I would rather buy online. You have your Kohls cash and coupons, which is great, BUT sometimes descriptions on their websites are wrong so it is not worth messing with Kohls. I have ordered things before online, and I did not receive everything that the website stated I would. When I would contact support, all I would receive is I can return my item even though I just wanted the missing item. I did not want to return my total purchase. I have found this has happened more than once. It seems like it is an automatic response. If you try and leave a review and state this on their website, they will NOT allow it to be posted. Also, processing takes FOREVER!!

Kohl's return policy cheats customer
I bought a Sketchers pair box-priced @ $75, on sale for $69 but within 6 mos of wear, the sole came unglued from the shoe. I did not have my receipt, however, the Kohl's receipts boast, "HASSLE-FREE RETURNS, ANYTIME, ANY REASON... "no receipt, no problem..." - "we can look up your purchase and give you a full refund, or even exchange."
I returned my defective shoe, was denied an even exchange with the statement, "this shoe is in back-stock and no longer offered..." thus, no even price exchange, only an in-store credit. In fact, I was offered less than 1% of the box-priced $75 - I was offered $6 in-store credit with the statement: "you are given the lowest sale price of the shoes when you return without a receipt and an even exchange is not possible." I asked Kohl's "when did you sell this shoe @ $6 and where?" Kohl's did not extend the courtesy of a reply. Kohl's previously said "our system" fixes the pricing for an in-store credit [$6]; mind boggling, as if some rogue computer or artificial intelligence in the "system" took over any common sense practiced by Kohl's - the policy is set by the person who programmed the "system" - which, cheats the customer of a refund and is contrary to a fair and open disclosure announced in the return policy - "hassle-free"? Only if you're will to get less than one percent 1% of what you paid.
Kohl's has had an opportunity to reply to me but has declined any reply or answers.
Kohl's unwritten "system" policy & practice cheats the customer

Not ordering at Kohl's again
I recently placed an order for 2 items through a wedding registry. when I recvd shipping notice it indicates that one item will ship to me and the other item to the bride. my intention was to have items shipped to me as I planned to bring the gift to the wedding. I contacted Kohl's Cust. Serv. about and recvd a very lame response about that shipping to the buyer through the site is not possible and items are shipped to the wedding party who registered. If this is the case not sure why one item is being shipped to the wedding party and one to me. Would not recommend ordering a wedding registry through Kohl's unless you want it shipped directly to the wedding party. I have ordered registry items from other companies and never encountered this issue. Kohl's has lost my business

Rotten service
I had placed my first online order with Kohls.com for a gift for my grandson who was returning home after 1 year in Kuwait with US Army. I had a limited timeframe to get it delivered to an address he would be at temporarily. Placed order, paid for expedited shipping, when I received email confirmation I noticed they had ship to and bill to address backwards and were shipping the gift to me. I called immediately, Kohls cancelled that order and made a new one, again with expedited shipping, with expected delivery date 8-18-15 to 8-19-15 so I lost a delivery day due to having to replace order. Here it is 8-19-15 and I was looking forward to hearing from my grandson that it had arrived BUT instead I get an email from Kohls saying order was cancelled because they were out of stock. REALLY on delivery day....why didn't they inform me sooner so I could try to replace it through another source. So disappointed in Kohls, I will never order online from them again.

Recent Purchases/Kohl's Cash
I just finished my ONLINE Kohl's survey, which doesn't give space for a comment. While I enjoy shopping at this store, and do so frequently-- It would be nice if Kohl's sent the Kohl's cash-- since there's many instances when I will purchase a gift, then go back and buy something for myself, and after going to lunch with friends-- return to Kohl's and buy something I saw earlier... These purchases often tally up to more than the $50, for the Kohl's cash-- but, if I don't remember to go to customer service with all of my receipts (which happened just this week-end)-- then I don't get the bonus. I LOVE a bargain-- so, even though the prices are good, I STILL MISS the extra-- that I know I missed out on. Does this make sense to you? (TEN DOLLARS-- is a BIG incentive for coming back, to nearly everyone I know-- and, that's why I KEEP SHOPPING with you-- SO OFTEN!)
P.S.-- Had I waited until Thursday, I would have received an additional ten dollars off the purchase I made today-- it was attached to my Kohl's Cash, so I didn't notice the date 'til I was checking out. WISH I'd waited on the purchase I made today-- as that would have mean-- quite a difference in price, as well. (THERE were plenty of the products that I was interested in. so two days wouldn't have made any difference-- except in the purchase price.) It's summer-- I'm only shopping due to the sales right now-- so, savings matters to me.
