We have had nothing but trouble from this company. They locked us out of our registry, lost the registry rewards, failed to let us return items even with a receipt 1 week after purchase unopened, forgot there store programs, after 48 combined hours at customer service the store manager was finally so frustrated with his own company they just credited us a gift card for current registry rewards price. We go to use this gift card online and then our order is canceled and the money cannot be returned nor the product shipped.

Christmas shopping nightmare
Just returned from my shopping experience at Kohl's. I have never been so disappointed. The staff at our local store (Palm Bay, Fl) were stocking during the day. Why? There were racks and racks of merchandise everywhere. I was constantly having to get out of their way. Shopping during Holiday time is bad enough. Why did they have to empty out the back room all at the same time? It was a big mess. Isles blocked everywhere in the back half of the store.

Never Again!
I placed an order on 11/25 online
when I tried to checkout the
message came up -Order not placed
please check payment info- I did
all was correct so I tried again
and recieved Same message. I called
my AmEx card to find the money had
been authorized by Kohls and a hold
placed but yet the order still had
not gone through. At this time I
placed 2 different calls to Kohls
customer service of which were
completely useless as the CS agent
couldn't seem tO even understand
the problem, let alone offer any
helpful advice and I was even told
on the second call that the super
user was too busy to address my
issue. I was told I would have to
wait til next day to speak with
credit services. I called back on
11/27 and after much fuss was able
to speak to A supervisor named
Heather. After explaining my issues
and problems several times I felt
as though she almost understood but
by this time several of the items I
had originally ordered almost 48
hours prior were no longer
available and I still am unable to
use my funds Kohls put a hold on
for payment. She offered to place
the order for the remaining items
with a 20% discount on top of my 15
% discount and applied a $5reward
balance from my account. These
combined with a payment from a
Kohls merchandise card for $55.
Brought my total to $17.09 left to
pay but my funds were still on hold
so she said she would place my
order on hold to allow me time to
add more funds to my AmEx. I added
the funds and called back to make
payment the first call was a
complete waste of time as the rep
couldn't even understand what I was
trying to do and put me on hold to
transfer at which time I was
disconnected. So I called back
again and spoke with another rep. I
confirmed all my info and gave her
the order number and reference
numbers I was given and explained
the discounts and told her that
Heather explained that she put
several notes in to the account. At
this time she put me on hold to
verify what I had told her. I was
on hold for several minutes when
all of a sudden I was being asked
to rate my expireience and
disconnected. I called back
immediately to find out that it was
now past hours and will have to
wait til morn again. I checked my
account aND order to find not only
have I lost several of the items I
originally ordered and paid for but
now all the prices have atleast
doubled. I am extremely
disappointed with the way this was
handled, the incompetence of the
CS Reps and their overall in
willingness to help. I am seriously
angered at the fact that I had
ordered the items early and when
available and my payment was also
authorized yet my order would not
go through until the items I wanted
were out of stock. I could not even
go directly to the store to
purchase because all my funds are
still on a hold by Kohls. Kohls has
completely ruined Christmas this
year for me, I won't be getting the
items that should have been mine,
my funds are still locked down and
you have the worst customer service
ice I have ever encountered. I will
be Sure to Let everyone I know in
as many ways that I can what a
horrible rotten experience I had
and do everything in my power to
detour anyone I can from doing
business with Kohls in any manner.
As of today 12/1 my money is still on hold and every item I wanted is now sold out.

I have been a loyal Kohl's customer for 8 yrs. and spent a TON of money NEVER AGAIN
Terrible customer service. I have had a Kohl's charge for at least 8 yrs. and spent a ton of money in there store. NEVER AGAIN!!! When shopping on Black Friday ( spent 675.00) I asked for a different color and size of comforters as I was planning to buy 3 and only one was the correct size and color. I was told that they did not have what I wanted in the back or anywhere. I bought a total of 3 although I settled for 2 comforters that I really did not want however the price was right. I went back a few days later to find that they now had the size and colors I wanted however, I was informed by the rude lame manager that they would not exchange.( hey would exchange for an additional 80.00? ) I had the comforters wrapped and still in the original packaging with the Kohl's stickers still on the packaging as well as the receipt of the purchase. All of the comforter sizes and colors were the same price on Black Friday however, if I was to exchange they would first credit me back and then recharge for the full price. So ridiculous! Furthermore, my mother is a senior and lives by herself on a tight budget and has no internet. She sends in all of her payments. She allowed 10-12 days for a payment to get to the payment center for Kohl's from NC. The payment was approximately $25.00 however, being Kohl's claimed that her payment was recieved late they charged her a late fee at around $25.00 really? They would not remove the charge when my mother called customer service. She was done with shopping there at that time. I am now also done shopping there. I bent up my Kohl's card and gave it to the manager and asked that he cuts it up as I will NO LONGER GIVE KOHL'S MY BUSINESS, I will not feel bad when this company goes out of business eventually!!

Gift Purchase but Store-Pickup by recipient N/A
I saw a great deal at Kohl’s for a kids Christmas gift. I’m in CA and the gift needed to go to AZ. I placed the order online and there was an option to do store-pick, which I did for my brother in law to pick up. I called the store to make sure my brother in law did not have any issues picking up the item, because although there was an option to check if it was a gift, it did not give me an option to reference the name of the person picking up the item. The store employee told me that the person that purchased the item would need to pick up in person and show a photo I.D. and they would not be able to give it to anybody else under no circumstances. I asked her what options I had, and she advised me to call Kohl’s customer service, cancel my order, and re-order the item with my brother in laws name. I called the 1855-564-5705 and I was disconnected from the first person who took my call. I called again and got Carol on the phone. It was really hard to understand anything she was saying to me, as she had a really heavy accent (which I found myself repeating the information to make sure I understood what she was saying to me), and she started being sarcastic and her tone sounded annoyed. That right away put me in a bad mood. Bottom line, they could do nothing for my issue. I asked to cancel my order, but they said they couldn’t since it was store pick up. I asked if they could change the order to be shipped to the recipient instead, and that was also declined. In a rude tone she said, “The only way to fix this, is for you not to pick up the item, and the order will automatically cancel and your money will be returned to you after 12/1/15 (I placed the order today 11/24/15), and simply have your brother in law order the item.” Agh! What part of this was a gift did she not understand? How am I going to call my brother in law for him to pay for his own gift? She even had the nerve to say, “Or, you could pickup the item in the store, and return it for a faster credit.” Really Carol?! That was so RUDE! I just can’t believe that in 2015 Kohl’s can’t add a simple field for the option for another person to be able to pick up a gift, other than the purchaser?! So, now I have to wait for my money to be returned to me, because that they took right away. Horrible customer service and by no means did they try to keep my business. I learned my lesson and will continue shopping at AMAZON. Really bummed this transaction didn’t go well. What a waste of my time this morning.

Did not honor online sale
I ordered 51 units of a toy that was to be given as gifts to my employees. This item was on sale. After we placed the order the order was canceled . We called the next day and was told that they could not sell to to my company because we are a retail seller. I did my best to explain that I was giving these as gifts. They still would not allow me to purchase the item. The next day we checked on the item again and what do you know, it magically went up in price. It is our belief that the item was mistakenly put on sale and that is the reason that they would not sell to us. I bet if I went back and paid the higher price they would not care what kind of company we are. As a company we would never treat any customer the way that we have been treated by this company. Not to mention we have ordered a lot from this company and now all of the sudden the fact that we are a retailer is a problem.

Scam!
Went up to the register to check out. Slid my debit card when their machine told me to. It said approved but then the cashier said it didn't work. I brought up my bank statement on my smart phone that proved I was just charged by Kohl's but that wasn't good enough. I had to either swipe my card again or leave without my clothes! They made me swipe my card 3 more times even though I had proof that I already paid!! Now I'm overcharged 223 dollars!!! Plus corporate was rude and told me I won't see that money for 10 business days. Such a scam!

Charged on debit card 6 times for same purchase
Last night I started receiving fraud alerts from Chase because my act had been charged 6 times from Kohls for the same purchase. Called Chase this morning at 7 am to find out what's up. Had all charges canceled but they also had to cancel the Chase card and a new one will not be forthcoming for 5 days. I than called Kohls to ask what happened and they could only say it is a computer glitch. 6 times is not a glitch. It is an attempt to extort. I now have 3 hours of phone calls with Chase and Kohls and I had to cancel my card. So now I have no debit card for 5 to 6 days which is what we use to pay almost everything with. Kohls has no way of knowing exactly what happened and assured me my act would be credited back these amts. if this were to happen to someone with less means they would be over drafted and have even more problems then I have now. Mine is of time and convenience but I assure you one thing. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT KOHLS AGAIN !!!!!!!!! Having a problem with a product is one thing but to screw up an individual's checking and savings accounts and not know how or why is inexcusable. 6 times for the same product. Think about that. If your item is just $100.00 you have $600.00 drawn out of your act and have to wait how long to receive credit plus the possibility of overdrafts. This is inexcusable.
