I'm a LONG time customer of Kohl's and spend a substantial amount of money annually. Of late, I have had nothing but issues from the website going wonky to idiots in other countries attempting to fix the issues, to disconnecting me. As of this moment, I am speaking to my 5th person and have been on the phone 1 hour, 51 minutes and counting. I'm about to throw in the towel. A "deal" is not worth this!

Loss prevention employment
Kohls employment process is very lengthy and from what I experienced during the Loss Prevention Interview with their LP Management Personal it was very sad. The LP Manager Venessa was very young and and frail looking which really made me think she could not even make a stop if she tried. The LP Supervisor Marcel just sat there at the interview like a bump on a log not saying anything and also was very young and gave off an appearance of being prejudice. .Vanessa explained to me that Marcel had made 200 bust by himself but also told me that their store still has a high shrink level. That alone tells me there is more going on then external theft at their location. Believe me when I say that the percentage of internal theft is much higher then external theft. There is a saying "Who's Watching the Watchers". I did not get the position of loss prevention yet I have more experience than both Vanessa and Marcel put together. That leads me to believe one thing experience dose not matter or they got intimidated by me. Non-Cultural Fit as they say!!!. Well good luck Kohls you get what you pay for "Continued High Shrinkage of Merchandise! By the way The Interview took place at your store in Moreno Valley, California.

Return
I ordered a baby bottle warmer from khols, along with several other items. All of my orders were delivered except the baby bottle warmer. The company did not want to deliver the item to my home. They wanted me to pick up the item at their warehouse. I explained to them that I was unable to do so. I told khols I just want my money refunded. Before they even agreed to refund my money, I had to keep calling them everyday for two weeks. One week additionally, and I still did not get my refund or the item I paid for. NEVER NEVER NEVER shop khols.com.

Credit Fraud
Let’s start out by saying that I am amazed at the lack of Customer Service by Kohls and their Fraud Department. I received an email on July 19 regarding an online purchase (that I did not make) and the estimated shipping date. I immediately called and emailed Kohls to let them know that I did not make this purchase and not to ship the item. The next day I received another email stating that the item had been shipped out to an address 400 miles away from me and to a different name. I called and emailed Kohls again to let them know I did not place this order. I was transferred to the Fraud Department and was left on hold for over 30 minutes with no answer. I called back and was placed on hold for another 25 minutes before I hung up. I have attempted contact with the Fraud Department over 10 times now, all with no answer. I have now closed out my account and 20 days later I have still not heard a word from Kohls or their Fraud Department. The charges still show on my account. Today I received an email from Kohls regarding a survey to rate and review my recent purchase (remember I didn’t make this purchase).
All I can say is that Kohls Credit and Fraud Department do not care about the customer or any fraudulent charges made to your account BUYER BEWARE!!

Worst Customer Service EVER!
The worst customer service experience I have ever dealt with. I order over $165 worth of bedding from Kohls.com on July 13th, 2016 (6 items in total). This was supposed to be a birthday gift to myself. The first item shows up. Unfortunately it was not my item that was delivered. They packaged someone else’s item with their packing slip in a box that was labeled to ship to me. I contacted customer service right away. The customer service representative stated to me that he would open up a ticket to have someone look into this matter and that someone would contact me within 24-48 hours. The next morning instead of someone calling me and apologizing for the inconvenience of sending out the wrong item and to say let’s get your item shipped out to you. I received an email stating that your package was delivered. YES, I know the package was delivered, it just wasn’t my item. I don’t know why that was so hard for customer service to understand or if someone just didn’t take the time to read the notes regarding the package. Therefore I had to call back to customer service again to try and get this straighten out. The customer service representative that assisted me this time was very polite and understanding. She was able to assist me getting this item reordered and reshipped (which I did receive). Here’s the thing. The representative did state that is would take a few weeks to receive a refund on this item (again not my fault they shipped with wrong item). I still had to place a new order and pay for the item again. She did give me a discount for the inconvenience and shipped the item out for free. Okay, 7 days later I have finally received at least one of the items I ordered. Question is, where are the other 5 items I ordered? I received an email yesterday July 19th, 2016 that my ordered was delivered via Fedex/USPS. I was home yesterday and no packages where delivered. I waited until at least today July 20th to see if they would turn up with my daily mail, still nothing. I call customer service back (third time), to let them know that I didn’t receive my items. Again, instead of being apologetic and wanting to help get my items out to me; the representative stated they would open up an investigation into where the items are and that someone would contact me within 2-3 weeks. Really, 2-3 weeks? That’s how long it would take in order to issue me a refund on the items or get the items to me? The representative asked me if I would like to reorder the items again in the meantime while the investigation is taking place. What if I reorder the items and they get lost again? Then what? I am out another $150. So tell me, what I am supposed to do in the mean time? Wait? I mainly shop online and I have had situations like this occur with other retailers and they have always either reshipped the item out to me as soon as possible or have credited my account back within 24-48 hours. I guess I will have to stick with those other retailers. I will never shop at a Kohl’s and I will definitely never order again through Kohls.com. I loving shopping online, but this by far is the worst experience I have ever had. What saddens me the most, is it that I work in retail (high end) and I would never EVER do this to a customer. If a customer came in and said they didn’t received an item, I would reorder the items for free of charge and ship it to them ASAP, no questions asked. I’ll take their word. I have done this so many times in my profession. I want the customer leaving and feeling like they received top notch concierge service and that their business matters to us, because not only are they going to return and buy more; they are going to tell everyone else what an amazing experience they had.

tumbling downhill
Quality of merchandise is so awful. Bought a guest towel on sale that originally cost $15.00. After a few uses it is now a rag. A $15.00 rag. Coupons are deceiving. Wording is unclear and then when you go to pay for something it does not qualify. Kohls.com is not any better. Shipping cost a fortune and the items arrive all bunched up and stuffed into your mailbox.

Awful.
I ordered a size 5 sandal from Kohls. When I received my order it came in a size 5 box, but the sandal was a size 6. I called customer service and said that the only way they could send me another pair before my trip was to go in store and return them and then order a new pair online. I asked if i could just ship them my return, but they do not offer free shipping on returns. They would not honor the old price for the sandal and refused to pay my expedited shipping. Awful.
