I bought via online a closeout pair of shorts. at $12, and they charged me $9.00 shipping. I paid it because I loved this style, and the store did not have this, but they sent the wrong size! Could not exchange it. They would not refund the exorbitant shipping charge, nor could they exchange it. I could have sent it back by paying shipping charges both ways, which of course I declined (Who would spend $18.00 to get back $12.00?) Several customer non-service emails were exchanged. They knew the situation and still demurred a full refund or exchange. NEVER will I set foot near any Kohls as long as I live, and I hope anyone who reads this will not either. A really rip-off outfit!!

HORRIBLE Customer Service
I recently moved from MA to TN. I wanted to purchase a duvet cover on Kohls.com that I liked. Even though I typed in my new shipping address, I received a text message today from the person renting my house in MA that the package was delivered there (My billing address is still my MA address at this point). I called UPS and they will pick up the package in two days, and I contacted the renter to ask that they leave the package on the front steps on the scheduled pickup day. So, this didn't seem like a huge deal--a pain to have to do all of this arranging, but I was told it would be sent back to the shipper and I would be refunded.
Since I still wanted the duvet cover, I figured I would go online and triple check that I was putting in the correct shipping address (because at this point I thought maybe I had made the mistake the first time and not put in my new address) and reorder it. After doing just that, I resubmitted the request. Two hours later I went online to check my email, and I was horrified to see that this new order was ALSO going to be shipped to my MA address and not to my TN address. I selected "Manage Order" hoping to remedy the situation either by changing the address or by merely cancelling the order. I wasn't given either of those options.
I promptly called Customer Service. I could go on and on about what occurred, but suffice it to say that the woman told me that it was impossible to do either of those things and that the only time anyone can either change the address or cancel the order is in the 30-minute time period right after placing the order. WHAT??!! In this computer age, a quick change for either of those options can't be done just two hours after placing the order??!! I got angrier and angrier in talking with her as she kept asking me the same useless questions over and over. I was yelling at her telling her that she had already asked me some of those questions and that I had already answered them and that the answer was the same. I wanted to speak to her supervisor, which also took some time as supposedly her supervisor was on another line. I told her I would wait. She would come back and tell me her supervisor was still busy. I told her I would wait as long as it took. Oh, the package isn't even scheduled to arrive between 7-10 days from now--sure seems like there should be enough time before fulfillment to make one of these simple changes.
Eventually I was able to speak with her supervisor. She assured me that she would make a ticket and that the order would be cancelled and that I would be refunded that amount. I asked her to be sure I understood what she was saying, and she assured me that it would be cancelled and not shipped.
HA! I wake up this morning to find an email from their customer service telling me that she understands that I have not receivede my package. You think??!! I just ordered it two hours prior to the ticket to cancel the order was made. The email goes on to refer to the first package, even though the purchase order number is for the second package. OMG!! The service is horrible. Do NOT purchase online from Kohl's unless you want to work with the worst company communication possible!!!

I had placed an order and could not…
I had placed an order and could not cancel it! At all! I tried right after I placed the order and for a whole hour! I messaged them and called in. They would not do anything for me! Instead I had to go to the store and cancel the pick up items and then refuse the package for the other items when they came. And then wait for the reversal on my card. Ridiculous! I have never seen an online store where you cannot cancel the order, not even right after! I was a regular customer but now I will not shop there again after this very inconvenient experience.

I have had several issues with Kohl’s…
I have had several issues with Kohl’s purchases (both in-store and online), and have never received any customer service assistance. The representatives always tell me that they are not authorized to assist me. They refer me to a phone number that is just an endless loop of voice mail with no human answering at any time. I know they have closed numerous locations and appear to be on shaky ground, so I would not take any chances buying gifts or items that you cannot return quickly, if needed. I have cut way back on shopping at Kohl’s in recent times, in large part due to all the gimmicks that are too much for this busy shopper. However, constant lack of customer service when there is an issue is another reason I will move on elsewhere. Since their quality has declined in recent times, it is just not worth the risk to me to shop at Kohl’s.

I really love our Kohl's here in…
I really love our Kohl's here in Lexington, SC. They are friendly and I get discounts all the time sent to me in the mail. They are helpful and not pushy like a lot of other clothing stores that try to talk you into buying more things. Their store is clean and their employees are nice.

How many times have I gone home to find alarm tags still on my clothes?
Poor customer service at the Collins Hill Location in Ga as well with those at Corporate Office. The managers don't know their own return policies and Corporate doesn't do anything to ensure that their policies are followed accordingly. Horrible company

Kohl's refused to make it right after causing us an overdraft fee
After we moved and changed banks I updated my Kohl's autopay to reflect the new bank and acct number. It even showed the new bank and "verified" status on the Kohl's website. Several months later I am notified by my old bank that kohls just sent them a transaction causing an overdraft and and fee of $27.50. Of course I signed on to the Kohl's website right away to see if maybe I forgot to update the bank but no, Kohl's charge website showed it correctly. I called and requested that Kohl's make it right and give us some sort of credit to offset the overdraft fee caused by their mistake. After several calls, Kohl's asked me to fax them my bank statement showing the overdraft which I did even though very inconvenient. Then Kohl's sends me a letter saying, not our problem, too bad about the overdraft fee. How is it not Kohl's problem if you send charge payoffs to the wrong bank (not the one shown in the manage bank accounts section of their website)? I called again on 10/11 and they said they would refund the overdraft fee but since the overdraft did not show up on my Kohl's statement (just my bank statement), they would not help me. Based on this run around and refusal to provide any information as to why they did this, we closed our account even though my wife loves to shop there. Guess they don't like long term customers that shop in their stores almost monthly. Ken and Claire Welch.
