Even if I bought flexible ticket, I couldn't change or cancel on time as their contact number is so busy or contact person has very strong accent and you can't understand what they say, and when you say that you can't understand, they hang up the phone right away.and you wait another hour to reach someone with more clear accent. Awful! Very disappointing! Never ever!!!

Good travel starts with an airline that doesn’t abandon its passengers. KM Malta Airlines has done exactly that. We have been stranded at FCO since last night by KM Malta Airlines. Today, they rebooked our family of four onto economy tickets even though we originally paid for business class. Their solution is to accept the economy tickets and pay extra for our overweight luggage, even though our original business tickets included the baggage allowance we used when we flew from Malta to Rome. What is most disappointing is the way they have handled a problem entirely of their own. A complete lack of basic customer service and hanging up on their customers just because so many are phoning to resolve their situation. Take my advice and don’t use this airline. You’re better off flying with any other airline as they wouldn’t ignore you.

They wont open the counter until whenever they want. As an example my flight was at 06:00 AM so I was at the airport 03:15 AM just to be safe and guess what the counter wasn't open, probably he/she was smoking cigarettes and having some time off. So I proceed to the lounge and since I came with carry-on luggage with same ticket combo I had no doubt that I would get across with any problem. Yet just before boarding they stopped everyone as me and they charged 30 EUR each for not checking our bags yet I paid for check in luggage while I was buying my ticket. There was two staff one long blonde woman and one short hijabi woman, they both were very rude. Just I was asking kindly (I think it was my second question) about the counter and everything, she cut my question and directed me as "Either you pay or I won't board you to plane your call" like she owns the company. I know for a fact that she is more royalist than the king. So overall its always a bad experience with KM Malta, dirty planes, rude ground staff and bad customer services.

Il biglietto era stato acquistato tramite Trip.com e avevamo l'e-mail di conferma in cui risultava chiaramente il bagaglio incluso nella prenotazione. Al gate ci è stato detto che, per loro, il bagaglio non esisteva. Fin qui potrebbe anche trattarsi di un errore di sistema. Quello che è inaccettabile è stato l'atteggiamento del personale: non hanno voluto nemmeno guardare l'e-mail che avevamo in mano. Nessuna verifica, nessun ascolto, nessuna volontà di capire. Solo risposte secche e la totale chiusura verso il cliente. Lavorare a contatto con il pubblico non significa solo applicare delle procedure. Significa anche saper ascoltare, verificare e trattare le persone con rispetto. In pochi minuti ci siamo sentiti ignorati e liquidati, nonostante stessimo semplicemente chiedendo di controllare una documentazione che dimostrava quanto stavamo dicendo. Gli errori possono capitare. L'arroganza, l'indifferenza e la totale mancanza di empatia, invece, sono una scelta. Ed è proprio questo il ricordo che porteremo con noi di KM Malta Airlines.

Great service all the way through in Business Flex. No problem ordering a vegetarian meal by phone, although this is now possible on the website. Food and drink service very good, high quality hot meals better than most full service airlines. Clean cabin, plenty of legroom, delay from Heathrow but due to French Air Traffic Control not the airline; lounge at Heathrow (Gulf Air) was really good, as was La Valette in Malta. EES at Malta took only a few seconds. Plenty of info about baggage allowance when booking and on emails sent a week before flight so can't understand many of the bad reviews except than quite a few actually relate to Malta Air, a totally different low cost airline owned by RyanAir.Ground handling at Malta both inbound and outbound has significantly improved over the last few months, sadly Heathrow T4 arrival is as dreadful as ever as the terminal is way past it's sell by date. USB points at seat worked both ways.

Die Bestimmung zum Reisegepäck und die damit verbundenen Zusatzkosten sind eine Unverschämtheit. Da kann einem die Lust am hart ersparten Urlaub sofort vergehen. Mir ist die Freude auf Malta vergangen, wenn schon die Airline sich so präsentiert.

Con un retraso de hora y media sentados en el avión y sin poder salir, pedí un vaso de agua en un vuelo de Londres a Malta y me dijeron que tenía que pagar. Por ley están obligados a dar agua y comida con un retraso de más de tres horas pero perfectamente pueden dar un vaso de agua gratis cuando el retraso es totalmente causado por la aerolínea. ¿En qué momento se convirtió el transporte de personas en situaciones donde perdemos completamente nuestros derechos?
