Well I finally got a refund, but it wasn't a full one. In the end I was stiffed $5.54 for the privilege of putting up with them. It's not a huge amount, but I certainly wouldn't place another order with them. Don't place an order with them unless you're prepared to lose money, and have a frustrating experience.

worst customer service ever
I placed an order for one of their pre-order keyboards on the exact date it was released.
They were supposed to dispatch the order two months ago by their own announced timeline.
Yet all they have done is push the timeline back. I’ve reached out to them several times, but on each occasion all they've said is that they are “sorry for the shipping problem” and that “it will be shipped soon”. They've given no explanation whatsoever as to what the “shipping problem” is and what they’re doing to resolve it. Avoid them like the plague.

Worst customer support I've ever had to been through.
I ordered a Keychron Q1, this was my experience with the customer support and service.
First of all, after waiting approximately 2 weeks after my order, I decided to send a refund email to refund my order since I did not want to wait any longer. A SINGLE day after I sent the refund email, my order was shipped out and a follow-up reply was a nonchalant 'I am sorry it can't be stopped now.'. At that point, I was infuriated but I decided to let it go since at the very least I knew now that my order was shipped out.
After about a week or so, I received my order and tested the keyboard out. It was not recognised or detected by my computer out of the box. In fact, I changed the ribbon wire connecting the daughterboard and PCB, even changed computers and USB ports and nothing worked. After that, I tried reaching out to the Keychron customer support to get a replacement. First, I tried their Discord server, in which they didn't even have a dedicated channel for support or help. To no surprise, I didn't get any help, though the members of the Discord server did help me test out the PCB and daughterboard, in which they had said that it was dead and needed a replacement as well.
After my search for help on Discord went to no avail, I decided to write another email to the Keychron customer support email address, in which it has already been THREE days and they have yet to reply me on my defunct order.
I don't know how you will interpret it, but in my experience with them, I personally feel that Keychron is really suspicious and scummy to be treating their customers and orders so nonchalantly. I'm hoping that they would send me a replacement soon, but, honestly, I'm not putting my hopes up that high after what I've been through.

Terrible support, totally unacceptable
Great keyboard initially but my switches are starting to fail. The robotic support team promised me they were sending replacements - which would have resolve my issue - but somehow my ticket status got set to new and the process started from the beginning, TWICE! Im thinking the support person might actually be a bot.
In any case terrible support experience for an otherwise pretty cool keyboard.
Look elsewhere.

Great mechanical TKL for Mac
As a Mac user of a certain age, I miss the old Alps manufactured mechanical keyboards that used to come with old Macs. These days they ship with the utterly pointless "Magic" keyboard and mouse. The keyboard is flat and has zero feedback, so easy to make mistakes and typing is uncomfortable. The mouse is essentially an overpriced, useless piece of tat. So the mouse got ditched for the amazing Logitech MX Master for Mac - that was the easy part. Finding a mechanical Mac keyboard with a UK layout where I didn't have to mess around with something like Karabiner is slightly less easy. Thankfully, Keychron make several ISO mechanical keyboards. What I really wanted was a full size 105 key keyboard, but they only offer a 96% and I don't like the position of the number pad and cursors. So instead, I opted for the K8 TKL and bought it from The Keyboard Company in the UK.
The quality of this keyboard is immense. It has a stunning alloy frame, lovely tactile keys (brown), lush backlight, and is amazing to type on. The brown switches aren't too loud for my sensitive work colleagues but not too soft like a red switch.
Keyboard is heavy and feels very high quality. I see some people have had issues, but I am pleased to say mine came in perfect condition, premier packaging, Windows key caps if I ever went to the dark side (I won't), and a key remover included.
Despite the negative reviews, I'd say buy with confidence. Great kit, combined with my MX Master for Mac it completely changes the experience of working on a Mac.
Go for it!

No Support & No returns
I needed to return the K6 keyboard due to a manufacturer fault, YOU CAN'T RETURN PRODUCT WITH BATTERIES TO HONG KONG, They know this and will not provide you with a prepaid label.
I tried many shipping services and they said that the item is prohibited due to the battery.
FEDEX was the only company that said they could return it, for £130.
The person I was speaking to provided NO help and I'm suck with a broken keyboard.

Poor support and misleading reviews
One of my keycaps was broken on arrival but they refused to send me one without charging me. What would this cost them? A couple bucks? Their website only includes glowing reviews. They use judge.me which allows them to hide negative reviews from their website. These guys are dodgy.
