Hi this is very usefull and interesting

Being a dog parent is one of the most rewarding things and we understand that fully because we are dog parents ourselves. Our relationship with our dogs is important and there’s no better way to strengthen that bond than through something we already do with them daily: Walks. That passion for our very own fur babies and helping other dog parents is what created Joyride Harness and forged our products.Today, we remain a tightknit family-ownedbusiness.🐶USA Owned & Operated

I like the design of this harness. It's construction is solid and it is the easiest harness to get on/off.. something my ageing parents really like, not to mention the dog! He is a 100 lbs puller with fear aggression and this is the only harness he's been "excited" to wear. There are only two ways to adjust the harness, therefore it is imperative that they both function correctly. The company's response to the sliding belly strap has been underwhelming at best. I contacted them regarding the issue, and they sent me a video clip of how the belt should look. After a bit of time and many adjustments, I got the belt to look like the one in the video... but it did not correct the problem and there was no response when I emailed them to tell them so. The belt is too slick. I've read other reviews that state that they used a different material, that the older harness doesn't do that. I would be willing to give them another go if I could somehow be assured the problem was fixed, but the lack of communication and attention to this problem doesn't give me much faith.

My dog kept getting out of the harness as the strap would slide. Joyride did send another harness, but the same problem happened with the new one. * I wrote back and was told that because I cut the neck strap to tighten that area, my guarantee was negated. * The sheet that was supplied with the second harness, stated that “the strap could be cut to tighten the fit”! Won’t recommend this harness 😞

This company's customer service is very poor. The phone number doesn't allow you to speak with a customer service representative. The only way to reach them is through email which they may or may not respond to. When they do, they say they'll look into it and get back to you. I've tried several times to reach them about my order which I placed almost 2 weeks ago, wanting an update on shipping (their website claims 5-6 shipping days) and I've heard nothing. It's very frustrating.

I placed my order nearly a month ago and haven't yet received it and have no idea if I ever will. The last communication the company sent was nearly 3 weeks ago but I have received nothing to confirm that my order has been shipped. While I understand orders may take longer to fulfill this time of year, to wait a month without receiving the product I paid for and without adequate communication is inexcusable. I have requested that my order be canceled and that I be refunded but they denied the request; although they did agree to assist with a return when (if??) I ever receive my order. Incredibly poor service.

Hi Chris, I am sorry for your experience. It looks like your order was delayed but was delivered on 11/28/20. According to the tracking number. If this is incorrect information please write into [email protected]. We are happy to look into this issue further for you.

This company is dishonest. As many people have mentioned, the underbelly strap is too slippery and does not hold in place. As soon as my dog starts pulling the harness becomes looser, to the point my dog can get out of it. I mentioned this problem to their support group, who assured me that shouldn't happen and they sent me a replacement. Problem is it's the same exact material and has the same issue coming loose. They know this is a product defect, but instead of fixing it they continue to lie and say it's an isolated issue when it's not.

Hello William, the slick straps are being changed out but it sounds like you got an old one before the old stock was cleared from rotation. I am reviewing your correspondence with us and there was nothing mentioned of this happening to the replacement. You didn't make us aware of the problem before this review. We are happy to refund you. We do not want you to pay for something that is not up to our standards.

We bought this harness when our dog was 2 months old, based on the average adult size of her breed. She did not grow into it, and the company, when asked about an exchange, told us that it was past the return period. We finally threw it in the trash after our dog slipped out of the too large harness and was almost hit by a car. Buyer beware!

The harness was purchased in April 2020 and the request for exchange was placed in October. 2020 This is the reason the request was declined it was outside of our 60 exchange policy. We do list this in our return / exchange policy listed clearly on our website. https://joyrideharness.com/pages/return-policy

The strap that goes under the chest is way too slippery and with any pulling, (and my dog pulls a lot!), it loosens so that by the time I get home the harness is a very sloppy fit. It's a design flaw in my opinion and I'm disappointed.

Thank you for your review. I went back to see any emails about this issue was. We did offer for you to return the order and you stated you would keep the order. The last correspondence we have from you is October 15th. I am going to send this to our team and have someone reach out to you regarding your order.
