This is my 3rd harness
This is my 3rd harness. The first two was for my first dog. He loved his harness. For some reason this time the harness feels stiff and causes irritation for my new pup. It’s not helping with the pulling either. I can’t tell if it’s the dog or the harness that’s the problem.

I liked mine from the past
I liked mine from the past, had about 3-4 years, then middle hook broke off from stitching, then the side loops ropped, so ordered another. The black one with skulls lasted about 2 weeks, then the hook in middle ripped from the stitching when pulled on tie out. I need to send back. Design needs to be updated somehow as if she bends down with her front legs, she could slip right out! Thanks Teresa and Yuki.

There was suppose to be tags to put on…
There was suppose to be tags to put on the harness never got them. I have no way of making any either. I would never recommend your product to anyone.

When you placed your order, the pre-printed tags were not yet included with all of our 2.0 harnesses, as they were a recent addition to our newer models. At the time, we offered downloadable versions that could be printed at home, but we absolutely understand that’s not a convenient option for everyone. I purchased the luminating harness
I purchased the luminating harness. The colors are nice and bright. But each time we’ve walked our dog, the top grip handle has turned off the lights on the harness. The handle seems to want to lay on the button which turns it off. I paid extra money to have it laminate while we walk at night.

This harness is very high quality, BUT
This harness is very high quality and heavy duty, easy to use, HOWEVER, our dog has figured out if he stretches, he can back right out of it. It's perfect when the dogs are walking forward, but not so good for our escape artist. After three episodes of running through the streets trying to rescue our dog, sorry to say, this harness is being replaced.

Proper fit is key, and sometimes it’s not just about tightness but also the strap placement based on your dog’s individual shape. One minor adjustment can make a significant difference, so we suggest testing a few settings in a safe area to find what works best for your escape artist. While we cannot guarantee the harness is completely “Houdini-proof” (some pups are just too clever!), it should be very secure when properly adjusted. For added peace of mind, you might also consider using a "safety strap" or "safety cord" that attaches to a collar and leash as a backup precaution for those extra wriggly pups. One of the clips broke on one harness
One of the clips broke on one harness. We purchased 3 harnesses for our 3 small dogs, 2 under 15lbs and one 22lbs. One of the fastener clips broke on the larger dogs harness. He’s a puller and we’re trying to find him a new harness. Not sure if this is a usual flaw in the clips. The other 2 are good. Hesitant to buy another.

great, but not for dachshunds
I first learned of Joyride harnesses from Jude, a small-to-medium sized dog that I dogsat before getting my own pup. His harness fit well and made walks easy. I especially like the multiple metal leash loops for different kinds of walks and the quick one-snap, easy-on/easy-off feature. Then I rescued a 14-pound dachshund mix. The harness was just as rugged as the bigger ones (though maybe not as necessary?), well-made, and all. But a doxie has a long back with short legs, so after a while I noticed Ellie was balding at her elbows and underarms and the snap closure, which could not be tightened any more, was getting in the way of her stride. I learned that dachshunds really needed the chest piece to go further toward her belly than the Joyride Harness does.
