It's gunna be o-K
For years, anhedonia has plagued me. I *want* to want to do things, but I don't. I can't motivate myself to do anything not necessary for survival. BBQ happening? cool. Group hike... too tired. Relaxing movie night? Ok, but I'm sleeping in 5 minutes. I would get the spontaneous urge to do something outside of my routine, like a solitary morning hike, but my anxiety would always talk me out of it. Lately, I've been acting on the ideas with no second guessing, no overthinking. I noticed myself speaking to clients and my boss in a more assertive way, because confrontation is feeling more safe. My sleep, which tends to be excessive, has been deeper. I wake up in fewer hours feeling more rested, with no memory of my (often bad) dreams, and haven't been falling asleep at my desk at work. It seems like the sexual side effects from my other med, Wellbutrin, are less severe now that I'm taking the VLD Ketamine too. Very happy with the ease of signing up and the text message monitoring - super easy for someone with executive dysfunction, since making a phone call to a doctor can be the biggest hardest step!
