I just started the treatment so I won't go into review the efficacy itself. Just reviewing the starting service that a lot of people are criticizing. With me there were no issues, the medicine arrived in 3 days and everything went smoothly. For people saying there's no report, not completely true but you can tell the providers are on a schedule. But no different from when I went to a psychiatrist and he gave me ssri's. Will update in a month or so but service wise it's not premium but not terrible either. The lozanges are very bitter and 15 mg is definitely a noticeable buzz, but again, not different from starting ssri's, you also feel lightheaded and buzzed on first doses of ssri's. Remember that most of the reviews come from people with negative experiences. Positive experiences are always underreported.

Anytime I need assistance with anything I can just easily schedule an appointment to speak with a provider. They've helped me when I've misplaced my medication and it's a judge freezone! You go at your pace with them and I love it!

I am just finishing up treatment after 8 months and my depression is significantly improved. I went from barely making it out of bed each day to pursuing creative projects almost daily! reading and finishing novels! taking walks regularly! With Joyous, I worked with two great providers, had my dose increased quickly as needed, never had a late shipment-in fact they were often early, and had my subscription paused within an hour of texting them my decision to stop for awhile. I will definitely return to Joyous if I feel myself slipping in the future. This has been a great experience. Ketamine has turned my life around in a significant way.

So far my experience has been great! I started at 15mg 3 weeks ago and now doing 60mg a day. I have always struggled with anxiety and depression. While not gone, it’s certainly more manageable. There is a “ceiling” to my anxiety and a “floor” to my depression that is definitely better. I started noticing a change about a week after and my partner has noticed positive changes as well. Some slow customer service responses but for 129 a month and low dose - I think that’s reasonable. Overall they have been great with customer service.

I had my second appointment with my Joyous provider today. I could see them clearly and they were in the Zoom meeting on time. My provider is compassionate and listens. My dose has been increased several times and I am on course to complete my treatment in about two months. I have noticed a small improvement in my depression and a bigger improvement with my anxiety. The AI functions work well for me. I am careful to answer the daily and weekly surveys slowly- and often the check-in questions move from one screen to another without an option to hit a next button. This bothered me at first, but now I am used to it. I like this program and feel it is a good fit for me and my depression. I feel like the heavy weight is beginning to lift- but will only get better with my participation. I NEED to be active in my recovery from depression.

I took the ketamine and my anxiety increased within an hour. I reported this on my daily check in and the next day my anxiety increase again after taking it. I reached out to Joyous and received a text back asking me if anything else in my life has changed and telling me not to take it within 4 hours of caffeine. I reported that nothing else had changed and that I did not take it within 4 hours of caffeine. I received a form text back that did not include a response to my concern. I reached out immediately again about the increased anxiety, got the same exact text I got before, answered it the same way, and got the same form text that did not answer anything. I do not want to keep taking something that is making me worse and where no one will provide any clarity on the so called care team. Clearly the care team is mostly AI response. Totally dangerous.

When the postal service “lost” my first round, they immediately shipped a replacement. I like that they don’t try to replace your therapist, but offer a complementary support to therapy. I’ve been really pleased with my results so far. They provide support without overwhelming you with information, and explain the process very well. I didn’t want to do the high-dose business because I have no interest in “tripping,” and this has really improved my health without requiring a psychedelic experience.

Yeesh, I was skeptical at first and apprehensive as someone who is in sobriety, but choosing Joyous and taking low-dose ketamine has made a significantly positive impact on my mental health journey. I have always received my prescription on time, even before I run out, and my questions have always been responded to thoroughly. I’d recommend Joyous for those on a budget and who already have some therapeutic resources/practices in place. I’m a somatic psychotherapist and I have done a fair amount of research on neural pathways and retraining the nervous system, but ketamine has helped me process emotional and cognitive barriers I didn’t even realize were weighing me down. If you’re an absolute newbie when it comes to crafting a wellness routine, it may be in your best interest to invest in books, podcasts, media or any materials that will help you prioritize your ultimate wellbeing.
