I have bee waiting two years for my stimulus payment for 1200 dollars it is awful! So I just filed again no card came in the mail no refund! Then I got a tax advocate what a joke! They send the same letter out without any results. People are suffering because this money could really help! Someone needs to be held accountable! How do you give someone free money and hold it complete non sense! I have completely threw my hands up! So sad that they don't care! Because they know legally we can't do anything so sad! Now I can't submit my review!

I wourld rate this a 0 if I could. I have been calling to fix a SIMPLE error that I made and yet the phone service is just full a f**king bots that don't understand ANY-F**KING-THING. Want to stop the direct deposit, "Please contact us at irs.gov." Go there, there IS NOTHING THERE! All this because I was told my refund was given to the bank -- the wrong bank. Well I will say this, if they don't email me within 24 hours, they can keep that return for all I care because I'm not happy. I wouldn't trust this 'non-funded' government organization with a 10 foot stick. I just want to SPEAK TO A HUMAN but no this deal is doing the same thing everywhere over the phone, "Due to Covid we are trying to get our employees safe." Firstly, THEY CAN'T GET COVID over the phone. So yes you can have HUMANS on the lines answer questions. And secondly, bots are completely stupid of understanding the simplest phrashes. And the worst part is that I've been trying to get this fixed for nearly a week now and nothing. You want to be like that, fine. Keep the tax return. I'll be getting everything in cash for now on because I'm not reporting a f**king single cent to your asses ever again. You are part of the government and what ruined this nation. JUST GIVE ME A HUMAN! I don't want to hear a bot.

Where is my refund? There has been no movement on my refund! There are things that say I should have received a letter, but I never did. Based on the reviews I can say that I am not the only one who is having to wait

I filed my tax paperwork in Jan 2022. It's now mid March and I still haven't received my refund. I have tried numerous times to get in contact with the IRS to find out what's going on with my refund. Phone calls and app both say they can't provide info. When I try to go their online website to find out if they even received my return, you have to go through so much to prove your identity and I can never get in. Seems when you owe the IRS money they want it by the deadline or you will suffer the consequences. If they owe you money, it's you'll get when you get it.

I filed my 2020 tax return and amended tax return. It's approaching 2 YEARS and I still have not received either of them. I try calling and NO ONE wants to dig and figure out what's wrong and why its taking this absurd amount of time to get my money back. I will be on hold for HOURS and the people working there have the worst customer service skills. It shouldn't take this long and now I am filing my taxes again and I'm sure it'll take another 2 years to see this money. This is absolutely ridiculous. What else do I have to do to get my money?!?!?!

Received the Letter 6419, which states that I received some AdvCTC (advanced Child Tax Credit) payment, which I never received. There is a phone number on the letter for me to contact. I called 3~4 times yesterday morning. All I got was some computer responses and was hung up after was switched to the waiting line for a real person. In afternoon, I was lucky enough to get into the waiting line. I waited, waited and waited. I did not want to give up because it's so hard to get into the waiting line. In the end, I had to give up after waited for over 2 hours. Today, I am more experienced to deal with the computer answering machine. I can get into the waiting line with less frustration. I waited for over 30 minutes in the morning. Then, the line dropped. I tried again during lunch hour, more than half an hour later, I was delighted to hear a real person's voice. She gave an ID number, which I did not have time to take it down. Then, I tried to explain my problem. However, I never heard anything further from her. I did not know when she muted my line. Now, I am still trying. I have been waiting for more than an hour now.

unfortunately, this review won't allow me not to leave a star, our federal government is the worse! I sat on the phone (hold) for 1 hour 32 minutes, just to finally speak with a representative for three hours pertaining to my taxes, I filed my own taxes on TurboTax, my release date was February 14, 2022, I have not received anything! thank you, I just needed to pay my mortgage amongst other bills because I had back surgery. I also informed her, that I have not with the exception of one $250.00 child tax payment received anything, child tax, eidl, or my taxes from last year, she informed me ALL MONEY that I am supposed to receive has gone into an account that is not my own. BRAVO, so thank you, scammers. to add injury to insult, my taxes for this are being delayed because to the IRS it appears I have received the money (even though I hadn't) and they have to make their deductions. so, they're deducting money that I haven't received? she says YES... unbelievable, now I have to submit multiple forms to receive over 15,000 of my money which is due... wait not finish, I am then told, this is a PROCESS SO BE PATIENT lol this process takes 120 days! thank you, IRS I wish all one-way tickets to hell, damn covid because that is the excuse people are using to be lazy & incompetent. I've worked for 20 years, out of work due to back surgery, someone fraudulently stole my money (everything) but I have to wait to 120 days to receive my money, WOW, epic BS (wont allow me to write the other word)
