This is definitely better than carrying an O2 tank, but it's not perfect. The single battery is useless, lasts less than 90min. It's not silent, quiet enough for a restaurant ,but church(?). Overheating can be an issue, be careful were you carry it or set it down (not in your lap).

I am very happy with my Inogen portable oxygen machine. It is very easy and convienent. It would be even better if it were more lightweight. And, to my surprise, I have seen a few other machines in use by other people.

Please be aware. If you are a Medicare patient and have a problem with your unit, Inogen will send you a cheaper, crappy replacement from a different manufacurer. Medicare customers come last on their list. Most new units are being shipped to India for a new contract. Their long term domestic customers are the ones eating crap. Their customer service team does nothing, regardless of their response here.
