So far it has provided me the relief that I was expecting. Very helpful to have while I am traveling and staying in hotels. Not having to transport the 110v house operated concentrator while sleeping.

My husband saw your advertisement on TV and told me to give you all a call. I was on oxygen furnished by medicare and the crap you have to go threw you might a well not even think of using it. I gave mine back because it was so loud and the noise it made creeped me out. In order for me to get one that I could carry around I would have to do more testing etc and the company that I would have to rely on was horrible. So I decided to get me own and not have to go threw hoops t get one. You can not go wrong by buying one from Inogen. I purchased the large one which I am so happy with. It's nice to know that when I need oxygen I have it an I don't have to wait . I also bought the extra battery too.so I knowI will never run out.

I really wish I would have gotten the next model up that went to higher oxygen settings. Now I’m stuck with this one that doesn’t do the job. It’s my own fault but disappointing!

Hospitalized for 60 days due to covid. We were in Florida when hubby was put in the hospital. We live in Oregon. Once he got out we needed something to get us across the United States. Drove 3,000 miles. The machine did great. 2 batteries was so handy and the lighter plug in adapter was very helpful.

The inogen gen 5 is awesome! It is easy to use. My disabled sister has more freedom. We are able to take her out without a limited time frame. It is the best purchase. Summer is an awesome saleslady. It was a wonderful sales experience.

The Inogen 5 has given me freedom to go just about anywhere I wish, After pulling tanks around, with 2 plus hours of usage, Carrying the 5 lb Inogen has made things much easier. It can be charged in your car, if you are travelling, charging cord is supplied. It can be charged at home or a hotel. The battery gives you ten hours of use. It is very easy to set up, plug and play Quality product. Support is there 24/7, with a special telephone number, dedicated just for Inogen users. I am very happy with the unit.

I have had this unit for a month now. I am going to give an honest review. To start I am not in need of oxygen daily even though I am short of breath daily. I know I am going to get worse breathing as days go on. I've used my Inogen G5 unit overnight for a few days. It does appear to help me breathe easier than I do most times breathing fast that is required when I get out of breath. My main issues with this unit is the noise from the puffs that is generated by the Cannula when I am attempting to sleep. It does vary from lying on my right or left side and does change for whatever reasons on different nights. I will be trying various Cannulas. There is also noise generated from this unit that I wasn't aware of which I think is normal for this unit. It is a popping sound every few seconds. This was never revealed to me before purchase or from reviews of. It could have made a difference of my purchase. If you are going to sleep with a Cannula then you will need pads which are available on Amazon to keep the tubing from making indentations in the skin on your face. The bottom line is I am glad I was able to acquire this unit and use as I deem needed per my breathing disabilities. There is no way a prescription should be required to purchase this unit.
