Terrible customer service We’ve been trying to contact the sales department for several weeks no return calls no return emails keep getting bounced around on the telephone sales or customer service but can’t seem to get anybody that knows what they’re doing if this is the kind of customer service Inogen Provides then forget about it and make you crazy

This is the best purchase I’ve ever made! It’s reliable, and affordable at only 77.00$ a month. If you have your oxygen prescription make sure you buy this item! I bought this and they took my oxygen away and every time I am I’ll or have a flare up my oxygen drops to 81-84%, so I use the inogen, otherwise I would be screwed! Don’t wait for the drs to take it away, buy it now! Don’t depend on Medicare for those heavy oxygen tanks to get refilled or have to drag it around, this is sooo much easier, buy an extra battery for 100.00, and you will never go without! Please if you use oxygen you must have this! I bought the second model which is a little cheaper and lighter, don’t forget to tell them you want the back pack, your spouse can wear it for you!!! Don’t forget when the power goes out, and your tanks run out you still have inogen.

Good at first but now my prescription is 6 liters so the machine is of no use. I’ll be trying to get rid of it

My 82 year old father was conned into getting one of these. Due to him being blind, I was the one that needed to provide information over the phone. The sales person had her sales pitch down to a T. I explained to her that it wasn't going to work for my dad because he needs continuous flow oxygen but she claimed it would change his life. She said they hold their value and she would help me if I needed to sell it. When I called to return it because it didn't work for him, she gave me an attitude. She also said they had been trying to reach my dad because the financing fell through due to me filling out the contract, not him. No one called him at all. She told me that someone would be contacting one of us with a code to send it back. 3 weeks later I called the main number because she wouldn't return my phone calls. She also failed to mention the $99 restocking fee that's taken up front and told my dad he was paying $120 a month when he was actually going to be paying $159. These people don't care about helping people, they just want to make money.

So the financial outlay does not end with the initial purchase. Expect the columns to go and the batteries...of which ...neither are cheap. I'm sure you were told to keep the batteries charged all the time..right? Let's screw the elderly.

I got my inogen in oct,21 never had to take it outside of the house till may 22 when i had to go pick up a grocery order i needed that day i may as well not had it with me i was not told when i was talking to the sales rep that sold it to me it works by pulse instead of continuous flow which you need when you are short of breath it was USELESS i paid 3000.00 for a USELESS machine.I called customer to service and that was a joke you people need to learn how to talk to customers and not be so rude after all we the customer are the ones paying for the things not you..I really wanted to return it and be done with it BUT all i was told was that i had 30 days to return it and there was noting i could do but finish paying for itmore the less suck it up you bought it your stuck with it....I KNOW THIS WILL NOT SHOW UP IN THE REVIEWS BECAUSE THEY DON'T WANT PEOPLE KNOWING HOW DIRTY THEY ARE....THANKS INOGEN FOR NOTHING.

I'm having trouble using the battery during the day. If I unplug the battery and start to work the unit shows a plug to charge and starts beeping and shuts off. I can't find a number for service. Don' know what to do or who to call. I posted this out of frustration. The very NEXT DAY I was able to contact customer service. They walked me thru a process to re-boot my machine. Then there was an error message that indicated there was a system problem. They sent me a new machine and a new battery. That was the NEXT DAY! I changed the review to 5 stars. I am very well pleased with my new INOGEN machine.
